Great little 5G mobile router
I bought this to replace an HTC 5G Hub, which I paid a lot for but had endless trouble with (not sure if I had a faulty unit or what, but it kept dropping my connection and had to be rebooted multiple times a day). This ZTE unit has performed pretty flawlessly right out of the box and has revolutionised my internet. Previously (before the HTC), I typically got 20-40Mbps through a landline broadband connection (the best available in my area), dropping to maybe 5Mbps when demand was high. With the HTC, over 5G, I typically got 60-80Mbps, but as I say the connection was VERY erratic, making it almost unusable in a business environment. Now I typically get between 80-120Mbps over 5G, rarely drop below 20Mbps and quite often get up to almost 200Mbps. And the connection has only dropped twice in 6 weeks, both times because the battery ran out (I have it permanently plugged in to the mains but run a timer to cut the power for a few hours each night to work and hopefully maintain the battery). All in all, I think this is a brilliant device! An additional plus is that you can log into the control panel over the internet as you would any other standard router (but not the HTC), and control lots of settings. My only word of caution is be careful to buy the right version if you need an ethernet port: I do, as I have it plugged into a mesh network, but the original device I received from an Amazon Marketplace seller didn't have one, though I was able to source one which did from an alternative supplier on Amazon.

Doesn't have the Ethernet port pictured
Doesn't appear to include the Ethernet port as pictured in the product description. This was the primary reason I purchased this device and not others. Very disappointed.

Works as advertised
I unpacked, inserted a SIM, responded some simple questions on screen and was up and running in no time. Its WiFi 6 is excellent, the range is much better than what I get from other older mifi devices. The download speeds I am seeing on 5G are typically around 100 Mbps, with occasional peaks at 250 Mbps. However, the upload speed is usually quite bad, it rarely exceeds 3 Mbps. I suspect that these speed limitations are more due to the provider I use than to the device itself. Even in places where coverage is very bad and it has to drop down to 3G, it still does 8 Mbps, which is not bad given the circumstances.

Rock Solid 5G device
After trying other branded hotspot devices, this one is rock solidThere are no drop outs or slow downs and by the time morning arrives, its still running at full speed unlike it competitorsSome things to note:It doesn't run or start up without the battery. The battery life isn't fantasticThere is some intelligent charging going on, example is if the battery gets too hot or its been on charge for 14 hours or more, it will stop charging the battery. A bit like these laptops where you can limit the charging to increase the battery's longevity. The WIFI is faster than the ethernet port as this is WIFI 6 but as my 5G is no faster than 280mbps, this will never be an issuePlugging this into the wan port of my router give the whole house access to superfast 5G. Whats not to like. One thing to add, this thing runs hot under load, I wonder how easy it will be to source a new battery when the times comes (which may be quite soon as heat destroys li-ion batterys)

5G Portable modem
I've had this for a while now. Where we go, it goes. Small lightweight and compact. A great item. Switches seamlessly between available signal source either 4 or 5 g . Reliable and user friendly. Can be connected direct to a computer/ TV/ VOIP phone with a lan cable.I recommend this brand.

Great 5G and WiFi speeds, however it was advertised as having an ethernet port and doesn't!
Marking down the 3 stars as I wanted the ethernet port and was careful to choose one that showed it in both the photos and mentioned it in the description. Lazy seller to just rip stock photos and descriptions.

ITEM IS VERY GOOD BUT NOT QUITE AS ADVERTISED
I have just received this 5g modem and I cannot fault it however please note that it is not as advertised due to the fact that it is wifi only and does not have an ethernet port as clearly shown in the product information

Slower than my Phone
Unfortunately had to return it due it being slower than using my phone as a hotspot. I was intending using this on my yacht as it has an ethernet port, I could use it as a router for my whole network. But upon my testing, I was unable to reach the same speeds as using my phone, so had to go back. The search continues!
