Does it also allow room for Ethernet cables to be plugged into the Google router!

Only allows for the flat style ethernet cable. If you use a traditional round style then it is a real struggle to get it in. Also there is only one slot for ethernet cables which makes it difficult to use it for the main router which can have 2 ethernet cable, one of incoming internet connection and one for outgoing connection to a switch or router.
