These are needed if you want to easily move a very heavy cage and make cleaning around your cage so much easier. It also gets the cage off the ground. Only works with the Niteangel Vista!

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: Although my first impressions weren't great, Niteangel reached out to me to replace the wheels and worked with me to resolve the issues I had run into with their product. Overall Niteangel is a great company. Also, once the wheels were attached, they roll smoothly over my low-pile carpet and hard surface floors. I recommend wheels if you plan to move the cage in the future.ORIGINAL REVIEW: One of the wheels didn't fit properly so I had to sand it down for a few minutes to make it fit. One of the other wheels was also a struggle to attach because it wouldn't tighten level to the cage. I needed two other people to help me attach the wheels to put as little stress on the cage as possible and attaching the wheels still caused a few of the rubber bands to snap! I was very worried my cage would fall apart or one of the wooden sides would break. The wheels will work for moving the cage but the whole process was quite stressful!

You will definitely need a second person minimum to install these since the cage is heavy, but it took less than 5 minutes to set up. It makes the niteangel cage easy to move and feel more complete if you don’t already have it on a desk or table. I’m happy Niteangel continues to bring their hamster products to the US because we desperately need better hamster care and having natural hamster items easily available had drastically improved my hamster care over the years. Thank you, Niteangel! Keep it up.Edit: My only complaint is there were no installation instructions, and the video on this page uses the wrong end of the Allen wrench to demonstrate tightening. I couldn’t get the screws to tighten using the side they demonstrated. Due to these poor instructions my cage wheels did not get installed correctly and could have potentially broken if I had continued to let the cage sit poorly on them, but I eventually figured out to tighten only the front screws on the front wheels and the side screws on the back. This cage is too heavy to install these incorrectly, so hopefully more clarification and instructions will be provided in the future. I do wish the bases were made out of metal instead of wood to make them sturdier, as well.

These wheels fit Vista cage correctly. They glide over carpet with minimal effort. I decided to reinforce using wood glue, just in case.

Does not fit vista. Measurements are wrong. Caused my whole cage to pop apart, and lif fell off into the cage, thank goodness my hamster wad borrowed inside and didn’t get hurt. Lost the hardware for the door hinges when it all Popped apart. I hope they replace them for free. Safe yourself the headache don’t buy these wheels. The Bigger World wheels fit perfectly but do break in half if notCareful and if not tight enough

I installed these wheels on my hamster’s Niteangel Bigger World cage. The cage has been stationary but recently moved it twice. On the second move, the wheel base started breaking where the nails are screwed in which made rolling the cage super difficult. I’m really disappointed since the cage is already an investment but the quality just isn’t there. Unfortunately, I’m outside of my return window so I’ll have to buy another set of wheels. 😔

Three sets in and they are finally installed on my cage. The first set came and it had 3 rear right wheels and one front right wheel. I returned and got a new set of wheels and when i received those, i turned the screw to put it on the cage and the whole wood piece snapped in half! Returned those and finally got them on my cage with the 3rd and final set. After not tightening them very tight due to the wood snapping in half again.

Its a must have it you don't plan on adding your niteangel cage on a elevated surface. I love that I can add these wheels on and move my cage around when I want to sweap and mop behind the cage.
