This come along works great for my application where I have little space and distance to use it. It is of decent quality and a great value.

I bought this hoist to lift a 110 pound steel folding attic stairs 12 feet up into the ceiling. This hoist worked perfectly. Smooth operation in all three settings [up, neutral, down]. Being able to crank 360° instead of 180° like a come-along was excellent. The gear reduction made lifting pretty much effortless.

Used for lifting a few hundred lb engine. Worked well for that, but don't know if I'd believe a 1650 lb capacity. Decent quality for the money.

My son hoisted a engine top out of his boat and said it worked great ! Made well.

Bought this to build a trolley hoist for my rooftop tent. Works great and it's compact sized worked great for my application.

Works great. Used it to haul a out boat and trailer up a uneven granite rock face to winterize and winter store it in a location with no road access. It is an old 15 ft Boston Whaler with 60hp Mercury 2 stroke.

Small, lightweight

So it worked beautifully and easily helped me lift a 500lb anchor that was sunk in the mud. Arrived on time. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the aluminum cap on the ratchet lever was dented when I opened it.
