Capstar is a one time flea killing medication that works quickly. Crush one tablet for a cat and stir into small amount of wet food. Fleas will die but not necessarily fall off the animal. This is helpful for outdoor cats but will not kill any eggs. Therefore, treatment needs to be repeated periodically. Capstar helps kill fleas on cats trapped for spay or neuter surgery so you don't bring live fleas into your vehicle or places where the cats are taken in the traps.

Ok I will 100% get this again I have it to all my cats and the fleas died immediately I also spoke to the vet prior to giving this to my cats Because I wanted to make sure it’s safe. The vet said Yes it works amazing BUT itit doesn’t last long and she advised My to give them that and put a monthly flea medication on There necks. So the fleas have been horrible the last few years So I’m making sure I nip it in The but fast. I’ll be buying this for my dogs too with the mommy medication. I held one of my cats not even 5 minutes after giving him the pill and the neck medication and fleas were just falling off dying. I recommend this product and will use again I also gave it to them with food I just think on a empty stomach it could make them sick I got a couple cans of wet food and no problems

I like how this flea treatment works quickly, killing fleas in just 30 minutes. It doesn't have a strong odor and doesn't leave any residue on my cat's fur. Plus, it's safe for kittens and cats from 2 to 25 pounds. However, the taste isn't great, and I wish it was more affordable. Also, better availability in stores would help. Overall, a decent product that gets the job done. Product should be a brown color to match kibble and be easier to feed pet. He thought it was part of the plate.

Works exceptionally well. Our cat only needed 2 doses. We haven’t had any other flea issues. Worth every penny!

I think this is probably the first Amazon review I’ve ever written but couldn’t help myself. We live in apartment building that constantly has a problem with fleas because of other pets in the building. I had given our cat every flea medicine/collar/ etc known to man but I would still find them. Not only did this work, it worked in one day as advertised. (Idk about 30 mins lol). And he had a pretty bad infestation. No side effects we’ve noticed. For reference, male 1 yr old cat, 10ish pounds.
