Deep brown color (exactly what I was looking for), fitted plastic insert, sturdy enough, functional and decorative. Mine are to be used in bedrooms. Note that the picture shows that the vertical posts are an offsetting lighter shade but the color is actually so very close to the weave that it is not noticeable. I don't view that as a deal-breaker. Prompt delivery. Price is decent. I also used some credit card point so my cash outlay was minimal. Free shipping. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase.

I adore this so much that I ordered a second one. It fits perfectly inbetween my bed and the nightstand so that if I have to blow my nose in bed I can drop the tissue into it without getting up. If it was larger I would have to move the nightstand further away to do this. It is smaller than a regular size waste paper basket and that is what I needed so that it fit without looking obtrusive or getting in my way when I climb into bed. It looks expensive and goes well with my mahogany antique furniture and hardwood floors. Also being a square shape is a plus because I can put it flush against the wall and so there is no gap for the tissues to fall into when I toss them into it like there would be if it was a round one. It would not be big enough for my bathroom because I put tons of junk into a bathriom waste paper basket as I do my makeup etc. But as a bedroom wastepaper basket it is perfect, functional, and beautiful.

Basket is well constructed and attractive, has a plastic removable liner, but WOEFULLY tiny. I bought this one for my living room to sit at the base of one of my lamp tables where sofa and couch ends meet. The one I had there previously was round, bigger, taller, but did not match the decor. This one matches beautifully with my furniture, but it is so small, I don't think anyone will recognize it for what it is. I'm keeping it in the hopes I will grow used to its tiny size, but this is more along the lines of something for a bathroom or countertop, but still small even for that. It IS attractive and well made. I think for its size, despite its quality, it is somewhat overpriced. All that to say, if tiny is what you want, tiny is what you'll get!

Guests were coming to our new lake home and we realized there was no trash can in the guest room they were staying in. We didn't want to put any old trash can in there, but we also didn't want to spend a fortune. This ended up being the perfect trash can for the room. It's sturdy and quite attractive and looks more expensive than it actually was.Do note that this trashcan is small (it's not even a foot high). However, as my wife has said, this trashcan might be the PERFECT way to subtly convey that houseguests and fish start to smell after three days.
