A Very gentle mint taste and our teeth are lookin as healthy, Even my babies are more enthusiastic to brush twice daily(with supervision nd dental permission) They seem to favor it as opposed to the kitty bubble gum/ watermelon flavor brands. It's got a smooth and light texture.

This is a great toothpaste without sodium laurel that I am allergic to. Bot a few times.

I used to purchase this toothpaste directly from my dentist back in the mid-90’s. He recommended it because it doesn’t foam. (I know... toothpaste that doesn’t foam?! How do you know if it’s working?) My dentist explained that foam gets in the way of seeing whether you’ve missed spots when brushing your teeth. Foam, it turns out, serves no function in the tooth brushing process. It’s only there to make you FEEL like you’re doing something magical. There’s not a lot of minty flavor to cover up bad breath either, which means you’ve got to brush thoroughly, floss well and brush that tongue to actually get rid of bacteria that cause breath odor. And when you clean your teeth sufficiently to control the odor, cavities don’t stand a chance in your mouth!One more thing... I used to suffer from the most miserable, humongous mouth ulcers. It was a constant struggle to eat, to talk, to smile... because the pain was so severe. The large raw spots would appear on my gums, inside my lip and cheeks and on the back of, the edges of and beneath my tongue. They took so long to heal, too! Doctors had me taking an array of meds and supplements over the years. Then a few years ago, I realized it had been months since a new ulcer had appeared. In fact, the problem stopped when I began using this toothpaste. Turns out that SLS, the ingredient that makes traditional toothpaste foamy, is an awful irritant. And I now know that I’m reactive to it. No more mouth sores and no more cavities.

I love this toothpaste for so many reasons.1) It has a nice taste. Maybe that shouldn't matter, but some good-for-you-toothpastes taste so awful, I'd avoid them even if it meant compromised dental health. CloSYS has good taste and all the positive dental health properties.2) It's great for sensitive teeth & gums. My husband first started using this because for him the sulfates in most toothpastes trigger canker sores. This is sulfate-free. Yay!3) Size DOES matter! When it comes to travel options, most toothpastes are either tiny and aren't going to last through the trip or huge and won't make it through TSA. CloSYS is exactly 3.4 oz--the max size allowed by Homeland Security.

For me, CloSYS is known more for their effective breath-sweetening mouthwash. This toothpaste does that too, apparently neutralizing sulfur compounds. what's more, the flavor is an excellent light mint.In use, it isn't overly foamy as it lacks foaming agents like SLS. (I can't stand looking like a rabid dog when brushing my teeth!) I think foaming agents are just to convince you that it's really cleaning your mouth.I think fluoride is important in a toothpaste, but judging by my and my family's results, not all that effective. (History note: I have heard that the efficacy of fluoride in reducing cavities was discovered in water that was accidentally contaminated by fluoride compounds.)Anyway, this is a pleasant-tasting non-foaming fluoride toothpaste. Now if only it were a little cheaper.

Ok...a tongue in cheek title but my wife loves this toothpaste and I love it when she uses it...which is all the time! This is in fact the only toothpaste she will use. She states it leaves her mouth clean and fresh (which is does), no coffee breath (which is true), her teeth stay pearly white (which they are), and we purchase through Amazon for convenience (which we do). The local pharmacy is the only store in town to carry this product (as we have searched for it locally) but they only stock a couple boxes so it is frequently out of stock. We just stopped looking because we order from Amazon, get great service for the same great product at a lower price. My wife swears by this product and I like the kissable outcome (without coffee breath!).

Seems to clean well. Haven't noticed anything special about it, except it seems good with sensitive areas.
