Amazing product and kept my baby girls hair looking fresh! A little goes a long way :) will be buying more of this product soon. Has a smooth consistentcy (texture) and will keep the frizzy hair under control. You get your bang for your buck!

This stuff works miracles on my hair. I honestly wasn't expecting such amazing results. I ordered this leave-in because I really wanted something more natural to help my curls. I was using Kinky Curly leave-in for a while and after getting through half my second bottle my hair was coming out in clumps (I'm not sure if the second bottle was defective or if the overall use was damaging). I was shedding probably 5x the normal amount and I was actually convinced I was going bald. I stopped using the leave-in for a week, I was going on vacation anyway and didn't want to bring it, and after using oil in my hair during that time, I saw it improve. But oil doesn't really work for my curls...my hair gets too greasy and loses all volume and shape. So when I got back I did a little research and read some reviews for the SheaMoisture line. I was pretty skeptical considering how cheap this stuff is...like most consumers I think higher price equals higher quality...but I figured I'd give it a try. I already knew that shea and black castor do wonders for hair, and this claimed to be natural, so it couldn't do any more damage, right? I ordered the shampoo, conditioner, and this leave-in. I also ordered two other leave-ins as backup...but I haven't touched those after I started using this. My curls are so soft and so defined. How is this even possible? I'll wash my hair with the shampoo, which also feels amazing, and then use a little amount on the top of my scalp and throughout the driest parts. Then I brush my hair, let it air dry, and shake it out; it's perfect. I don't even use the conditioner that often because it's not necessary. This leave-in detangles, moisturizes, and styles all in one. The best part? I've restored my hair! I'm back to my regular amount of daily shedding and running my hand through my hair is not only easy but also doesn't pull out twenty strands at once. YAY!I have (I think) 3A/3B hair.

Fell in love with this product from day one. This thing is absolute hair gold, scratch that, platinum. Never before, and if I thought I did I was wrong, have I come across a product that went through my hair like butter, erasing any tangles, like poof, be gone. Additionally, I do not really even have an issue that much with tangles any more due to this product. It's like tangle repellent. It's pure magic for my 3c/4a hair and I wish I had come across this sooner. Not only does it smell divine, an experience in and of itself, I love love love the fact that it saves me time on my hair routine since it contains JBCO castor oil, shea butter and even keratin. So I end up modifying my routine based on what I feel like doing that day or evening. For instance if I am feeling lazy or just plain old tired by night time all I do is slightly saturate my hair with aloe vera juice mixed with water, apply this product (working through my hair which is an absolute breeze) and twist or re-twist. My hair absolutely loves this and just soaks it up like hair lotion. Cannot get over how much I look forward to my routine now, what ever that will be, because of this product. Highly Highly Recommend!!! Plan on stocking up!!! Cannot thank Shea Moisture enough for this formulation and Amazon for carrying this. Dynamite in terms of results, in a convenient, nice size jar. I have thick, high density, coily afro textured hair. I adore the scent. I wish they`d make a body spray for the scent alone! The texture is very light and non viscous, but still has a thick, slippery texture. It reminds me of thin yogurt. I used a tiny bit of it on hair and ends over flaxseed gel and a dab of oil for the LOC method, my usual moisturizing routine. I like how easily it spread, but I don`t think the product is good as the C in the LOC method for my hair. It left ends a tad dried out after detangling and moisturizing.However, I was able to use it as lubrication for twisting in extension hair as I self installed jumbo marley twists. It`s a very nice product for styling or use as gel. It provided the slip and gel-like smoothing I needed for both my hair and the fake hair, and I would prefer this product over traditional gel or stylers since it has quality ingredients that are good for hair, and the amazing scent.Next time I use it with my hair, I will try it as LCO. So far I really like it as a gel and styling aide. It`s just not heavy enough as a leave in cream for my ends, which highly prefers my old faithful Hollywood Beauty Olive Cream. However, I would still repurchase this product. It`s a huge 16 ounce jar that`ll last a long time. It may also even be better as a `refreshing` type of cream for my hair instead of the initial leave in cream, especially with it`s water content, which is why my ends like a heavier cream as a leave in.
