Cheaper than buying a whoe new chair!
I was debating whether to get an entire new office chair with a built-in headrest, but had some misgivings about spending $. Saw this with a 15% coupon which made the price even more attractive and gave it a shot. What's in the box:==============It comes with 2 different sized brackets made to accommodate the the thickness of your chair as well as the appropriate screws sized in length to do the same. You also have the option to screw into your chair directly. Also comes with what they called a 'non-slip' strip which on touching it is not really sticky at all, but maybe for the purpose of clamping this down to your chair it is. Lastly a square piece of mesh cloth to place on the area where you will be mounting the headrest.Assembly=======Pretty simple. Attach non-slip strip to your chair, attach the appropriately sized bracket to the headrest using the right-sized screws, loosely attach the headrest over the mesh cloth and tighten.Cons:====It's really hard to tell if this unit is a good fit for your chair based on the curvature of back as illustrated in the listing. I think it would help if they had a picture someone sitting in an non-compatible chair so we can get a better idea if it will fit yours. It should also be noted that adjustments to this headrest is limited only to adjusting the height. You cannot adjust it forward or backwards.Summary=======Overall a decent buy, but make sure to set some level of limited expectations with respect to chair compatibility and the ability to adjust it.

Rest sits too far forward for my chair
I really wanted to like this headrest but the headrest just sits too far forward for my chair. There is no way adjust how far it sits forward, only up and down and a tilt on the cushion itself. If you had a chair where the back sits farther back it would be good but not on a straight back chair. Was easy to install and was comfortable to lean against but just did not work for me

Not durable
The head rest broke after couple months of use . When trying to adjust the height of the headrest the little square that you push to do the adjustment came out flying . Turns out the screw that holds the square and the spring together broke off inside the plastics piece and there is no way to remove the remaining piece to replace with another screw . Pretty disappointing

Fits my Steelcase Amia
This headrest is a game changer. Sucks that some people couldn't make it work for their chairs. It works perfectly for mine. I also like the mobility of the headrest, It adjusts very easily. Comfy and east to install. Quality seems alright but It comes with a 2 year warranty so that's good. 👌🏾

Good value for the money and does what it needs to do.
Be realistic and temper your expectations with this headrest. It’s $35 vs one that might cost $150+ if you’ve got a nice name brand chair. It’s going to mess up the aesthetics of your chair and it won’t fit perfectly, because it was not made for your exact chair. But, it does exactly what it needs to do, which is attach to the chair and provide head support. I did not want to drill into my chair, so I attached it with the brackets and it is secure enough. I’m a fairly large headed man, and I was able to lean all the way back and put all of my head’s weight onto the headrest. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done on my Steelcase Amia.

Doesn't come forward enough
With multiple people saying it pushes their head too far forward, I was actually hopeful for this, but I guess my chair is built different from theirs. I wanted support to rest my head against while just sitting at my computer, but the only way my head rests against this is if lean my head all the way back until I'm fully double chinning, or lean back in my chair to stare at the ceiling. Sitting up straight in my chair, there's 4-5 inches between the back of my head and the headrest, which kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing something to supply head/neck support. Not sure if it's worth keeping

Meets My Needs
First off, each and every office chair will be different. From the height of the back, the curvature of the back, how far back it goes and whether it allows you to rock back or just stays locked in place. This will all affect how the head rest will sit on your chair and how it'll affect you.I received my head rest fairly quickly with all the hardware.Sadly the largest bracket was about one eighth of an inch too small to fit on the back of my chair. So what I did was to search through my assorted hardware which I had saved, found two long bolts used for holding a microwave over the stove and a couple of bolts to fit.Positioned the head rest, the drilled a couple of holes and put the bolt through. The head rest was sitting too far back. So I used an old Sharpie marker and below the bolts on the back on the bottom edge, then tightened the bolts. Now it sits perfectly for my chair. When I lean back, it rests on my neck just at the base of my skull so I can rest comfortably. No more dozing off and having my neck fall back, then snap forward which really hurts bad because of my having arthritis in my neck due to deteriorating disk disease. When I just sit in my chair with out leaning back, there is approximately six inches or so of space between the back of my head and the head rest.I've included a picture in which I removed the background as my desk is a royal mess right now.

Does the job!!
The mounting process was pretty straightforward and simple with the instructions. Easy installation upgrade to a standard chair. Recline like a boss without slouching or your head hanging backwards. Basic black. This does everything that it said it was going to do.
