Regular use (and particularly cleaning) of wooden chopping boards can damage the surface if it is not nourished and cared for. This stuff does the job beautifully. It is food-safe and leaves no scent or undesirable residue.Very happy with it and have since used it on wooden a fruit bowl, a wooden knife block and other items.
