really like it
I bought this Sept 4, 2022. I waited to post a review to see how durable it is. I have carried on and I have checked this bag a few times. There are tiny barely noticeable dings from the airline handling but overall, it still looks good. I bought the cabernet color. It hold enough for a week , for me and does everything it's supposed to. I would probably purchase again and do recommend it. I registered this bag with travelpro the day after I got it. When packing for my latest trip in 4-1-23, I noticed the left side TSA lock zipper tag is gone. I have contacted Travelpro to see about the warranty and haven't gotten an answer yet. BUT when i went to their site to see about ordering the part (how much could it really be?), it appears part are now not available for this particular style/model. I am trying to ask if another similar part will suffice. So just be aware, that it may or may not be covered, even if your register the bag. The warranty was a big part of why I bought it. I will update my review when I find out for sure what is truly covered and what is not. Edited to add: The outcome was that Travelpro sent me a whole new suitcase. They didn’t have the color of my bag so I accepted a green one. Accepting a new bag, of course, negates the warranty on both the old one and the replacement. I just bought a lock for he first one . They really do honor the warranty.

Great luggage upgrade for me
Quality luggage set. I own the carry on size and middle size (the largest one is great but TOO big for my needs).Great wheels / zippered pockets inside.

Broken suitcase telescope handle on Travelpro Maxlite Air Hardside Medium 25”
I don't write reviews. But when I read @Vionette's one-star review for the Travelpro Maxlite Air Hardside Expandable Medium 25-inch suitcase posted on 4/12/2025, I was compelled to chime in as a public service for people shopping for reliable luggage. Keep looking!I purchased the same Travelpro Maxlite Air 25-inch hard spinner on 9/19/2023 for $186.99. I used it exactly three times for domestic travel. The third time I used this suitcase was for a trip home for Christmas in December 2024. While boarding an Amtrack train to Michigan, the telescope handle stopped working and was stuck in the upright position. A kind man who was over six feet tall couldn't push the handle down. Luckily, I was allowed to board the train with the handle extended. I ended up borrowing a suitcase from my mother for my return flight to Arizona.I should add that at the same time I purchased this suitcase, I also paid $314 + tax for the Travelpro Platinum Elite Hardside Expandable Carry on Spinner in the same Dark Sky Blue color:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B12RPMXF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1It's great for business trips. I haven't had a problem with this suitcase - yet.The next time I travel and need to check a bag, I will use my 7-year old Skyway Luggage medium size fabric spinner suitcase that I purchased at Kohl's. It's lightweight and in excellent condition with no defects. The defective Travelpro medium spinner suitcase I paid close to $200 for is still at my Mom's house in the Midwest.Read and pay attention to the negative reviews of this suitcase. Many people cite zippers and wheels that broke upon first use, handles being too tight to grip, the lack of Travelpro customer service and loopholes in Travelpro’s "Lifetime Limited Warranty" that are deliberately designed to protect the company while screwing the customer. Good luck getting Travelpro to refund your luggage or fixed without great time and expense to you.I will never buy Travelpro luggage again or any luggage on Amazon.

Wife's New Suitecase
I have purchased Travelpro for many years. I read a book on travel, and they recommended Travelpro or other suitcases that airline staff use. They don't wear out even for heavy travelers like me.Find one that fits your travel needs. I like the clamshell because it provides a greater level of safety while traveling without external pockets. This is the one I use for international and airline travel. If I am doing a car trip, I use the one with pockets because there is more room. The one I purchased for my new wife for our honeymoon. The color is very beautiful.

Good for simple packers
Right off the bat, this felt like a huge upgrade from my previous suitcase. I really enjoy the stability and maneuverability. I was really rough on it during my first trip and it took the beating like a champ. The only things that I did not like about the suitcase are the way the zipper partitions close. The extra fabric standing out from the interior sides of the suitcase makes it difficult to pack the edges efficiently. I bought an organizer that should have fit snugly, but the edge of the closure prevented this even if I left the flap open . I would prefer one half to have the more traditional elastic strap fasteners instead. Also the handle bumps on the inside are bulkier than what I'm used to, which makes packing odd shaped items like shoes difficult.Overall the capacity is smaller than id expect for a 21" case but it seems to be a tradeoff for its sturdy construction.I occasionally pack off shaped things like housewares in my suitcase (vintage shopping etc) and don't like being limited by the built ins.Besides it not fitting the organizer I got for it, and the limitations caused by the dividers and hardware, it was a great little case and Im glad I got it.
