Well made, but poorly designed
I bought this set solely for the tulip hood, which was to replace an old one whose bayonet fitting had worn and become loose on the lens. The one in this set screws into the filter mount thread on the lens and does so securely.The hood seems pretty sturdy, and certainly feels more expensive than it was.So why only two stars? Firstly the ‘petals’ are longer than on my old one, to the point that however much you try to square it up, at 18mm they’re visible in the corners of every photo. And because it screws on it’s a pain to get it off again to avoid this.Secondly, despite screwing into the lens thread it has no internal thread itself so the lens cap just falls out of it at every jolt as there’s nothing for the retaining clips of the lens cap to dig in to.On the basis of this the set was actually better value than I expected as I’m using the cheap unbranded lens cap that came with it as it has a string to fix it to my camera strap unlike my proper Nikon one. Every cloud eh?The rubber lens hood remains unused, but unlike the tulip has a proper threaded ring to take a lens cap or filter. If you were buying it for this you might be a happier customer than I am. As it is I’m a few quid lighter and still looking for a new tulip hood.

incorrect size
The lens hoods received were not as advertised. The advertised hoods were for canon camera SX70HS, this was not found to be the case, they were far too big, there was no way they could be attached to the camera. I have had to reorder from another company who were able to provide me with a perfect fit.

Seems like good value for money
Lens hoods fit my Nikkor 67mm dia. lens. Lens cap fits the same as my Nikon one. Some vignetting with the rubber hood at focal lengths below 35mm. The hoods screw into the thread on the lens/filter rather than use the bayonet fitting. Not used much yet so can't comment on durability but they seem ok and the price is very cheap.
