Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses

I read this exact book to my tiny one - 50 years ago. We both loved these poems through the years. Purchased to be a gift for a new baby.

Classic poems, some of them easy and fun to memorize and put dance/gestures to. Many of these poems are delicious to read (or recite) over and over. Whether celebrating going up in a swing or discovering shadows, these poems are friendly playtime companions.

So excited to find that the book I loved as a child is still in print. Bought it for my youngest granddaughter.

This is exactly the book I have from when I was little - a very long time ago. It was in no shape to give to my grandchild but it was one I wanted to share. It was so much fun to show them both books and give them their very own copy.On the other hand, I always thought some of the artwork was a little creepy, so if you don't have a personal connection to this edition, I don't know if I would choose it.

Arrived on time in great shape! Love this book as a child and bought this for my Granddaughter.

I received this book for Christmas when I was 10. Was my favorite book. Got the exact same version for my sons and this year for my granddaughter. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did

The condition of the spine and front cover are quite tattered. The spine is broken and in need of repair. However the inside is clean and with no damage.

This book is an updated publication of the exact same book of delightful poems for my newest grandchild! I spent hours reading these poems and she loves it too!!!
