The light in our dining room was originally mounted in a stupid location in our 50+ year old modular. So we installed this with a short distance of chain to the hang in a better location. (centered over the table). We did not use the included rod at all because we wanted it fairly close to the ceilings (similar to a semi-flush mount). (see photo) Looks so much better than the old light and lets out nice light using 3 60 watt equivalent led bulbs. Note chain is very stiff - my husband knew how to spread the links without marring.Lamp is good quality and a good price.Be sure to un-pack the glass diffuser in the styrofoam - we almost missed it.

This chandelier was just what I wanted - the light from it is soft and diffuse....and the look of the drum shade with the ornate piece over it is very pretty! ......and all for an amazing price!!Also, my electrician had no trouble putting it up.I'm very happy with the quality, and the look of this chandelier!

I love this light! It looks great and works well over my dining room table. The directions were good and it was fairly easy to install - hooking up the chain and shortening it was a bit of a struggle. As noted by others be sure you look through the box well to find the bottom glass part. It is snugly packed at the bottom inside a big piece of Styrofoam.I was a little worried about the color - someone had said theirs was almost black. The one I received was not black - it was definitely bronze.

This is a beautiful light fixture and a bit smaller in diameter than some others that come with a long chain, which is nice if you have a small dining area like me and don't want a light fixture as big as your table. However, after reading that some described it as "black" and others as "brown" I took a chance and ordered it. It is definitely on the darker side and does appear black when not lit. I ordered a different one in "olde bronze" finish and that is definitely BROWN. So if you are looking for brown just beware that this one while gorgeous and perfect size, this one is very dark. I am still debating which one to keep...

Nice lamp..bit of a pain to install...Things to know..The chain requires you think bend open the links at each end to attach it to the ceiling mount as well as the ring above lamp and then to squeeze the link closed again..you will need a pair of vice grips to do this. The power cord needs to be fed through threaded rod before you attach ceiling plate..Bottom line you have to make adjustments as you go to make everything work right...Read others complain about getting the glass to fit snug I did not have this problem..you may need to adjust the small nut to allow you to screw the decorative nut and rod tight..I used color changing led bulbs in mine which makes it even cooler..well worth the extra $30 to buy yourself three of them as well...there was no hook included to attach chain to if you wish to shorten etc..I used the old one already in my ceiling..you could also just shorten the chain by removing links but I needed to have mine hang a foot over from my ceiling mount...

The light looks great and really brightens up our breakfast table area. As you'll read in over reviews; the hanging chain is closed at both ends which means you have to pry open the link on both ends to get it around the rings to hand it. For anyone with a little bit of handyman skills this is not an issue but you'll need to be careful to not scratch the chain when you are prying it open and then prying it closed. I did that on the low end but on the end that attached to the ceiling I went to home depot and found a carabiner (like you use for rock climbing but the one you find a home depot, target, walmart are not strong enough to climbing) to use. It looks like it came with the light and it allows me to adjust the length of the chain to put the light at different heights until we decided exactly how high / low we want it.The shipping from the supplier was very quick

Not what you find at the big box stores, much nicer and really unique. The quality was very good, a couple small imperfections on the frosted areas were not really visible, unless we pointed them out. We liked the fixtures enough to buy several more, one for the entry, one for the dinning room and one for my office.

We bought this to replace an old chandelier hanging in our high ceiling stairway. No complaints about this product. The installation was a tad bit challenging due to the height of the ceiling, but not any product flaw. We made sure to hang it a tad bit lower so we can change the bulbs and clean it without hassle.
