Works fine but you need a good and hot soldering iron to tin
Pre-tinned would be nice as opposed to having to tin nickel. I put my 70 watt soldering station right up to 450 to tin them and it worked fine.BTW, the strain relief fits 14 AWG silicone insulated wire but if you trim it back you can get 12 AWG in at a push. The best way to seat the connectors in the housing seems to be to push a male and female pair together.

Hmmmm...
These have done what i needed, but on first use the red tips on plugs got stuck in my multimeter sockets...pulled right off. Luckily did not stop my usual probes plugs from working. It may be the depth of my sockets is the 'problem' Otherwise they are good, and the problem was not apparent with the supplied socket.

Robust and high quality
It takes quite a bit of force to insert the metal piece fully into the plastic shroud but once done it won't pull out. Testing these with precision measurement equipment, the repeatability of the measurement is 100%, they make a very good electrical connection with very low resistance.

DiY banana plugs
Fair price for a good selection of colours to suit requirements- recommended

Cheapest but Not the easiest
These are soldered connection and the connection section is not the easiest to tin so that means even with pre-tinned wires the connection was a bit hit and miss. You need to do a continuity test when you have finished.

Some are not 0ohms
They are ok but some of them have a slight resistance in them so that has to be taken into account when measuring circuits
