Hedy Lamarr and a Secret Communication System (Inventions and Discovery)

My daughter loved this. It is great to see material as a counter balance to the "body beautiful" sexualised content usually available to people. This is not feminist propaganda in any way just a (true) story of an intelligent and courageous woman. There are plenty out there, like there are plenty of intelligent and courageous men, it is just that we get to hear of the men more often than the women.Content is suitable for all but requires some maturity for understanding (I am guessing that 8+ is a reasonably good guide i.e. some 8 year olds might struggle but some 7 year olds might find it a breeze). I may have got this way off as I find it difficult to guage but my 11 year old found it easy enough. I intend to read it too as it looks an interesting story and not at all patronising.

A lightweight graphic comic about Heddy Lamarr. Factually light and giving only a brief outline of her life and inventions.I am sorry I wasted my money.

I thought it was, for the price, a proper book, not a small comic strip!!!

Interesting and informative, and presented in a way many can read.

The delivery was fast at time, the book is as desribed.I was expecting a proper comic book not a small one, but I think it was my fault; I should have read the whole detailed description.
