Does this gun make the glue real stringy and cobwebby as you pull it away from your project???

Yes it does if you allow it to. I don't let it do that. I use it, and then make a sharp end by putting the nozzle close to the package or whatever so it wont string. I love this gun. I have used it all Christmas season for packages, as I do very elaborate wrapping. You would love it.

Hello! Unfortunately we don't sell glue sticks yet but there's a lot of high temp glue sticks here in Amazon. Just make sure the size is 11mm or 7/16 inch diameter. Thank you for your question.

i just did a dent removal project with its specific purpose-built glue and another gun. then i bought the chandler. the free glue wont be a good choice for dents. its too soft. it worked great on cardboard boxes (my current project), but im sure its a good, quality, general purpose glue, which is appropriate. i agree with Chris, thr Gorilla glue has higher adhesion properties. just went through 30 sticks of it in conjuction with the Chandler gen purpose glue.

What are the actual dimensions of the glue gun? I want to buy a case to store it in and I can only find the package dimensions.

Actual dimensions, with glue stick removed, is exactly 7 inches from tip (where the glue comes out) to the other end where the glue stick is inserted. Height is 7 1/2 inches from base to top of gun. Depth is 2 1/2 inches at the widest point which is the base. I'd recommend buying a case that is slightly larger than these dimensions. You might also consider space for the glue sticks which are 8 inches in length.
