Writing a day after receiving the package -- Colour is slightly different from description, finish is average, it is somewhat sturdy and VERY HARD TO ASSEMBLE as screws are not easy to put in with the tiny L Key.

The actual product is not so sturdy..Not strong enough to keep heavy books..The centre portion of each level tends to sag down..And the coating/painting is too thin that fungus creeps in easily..But its a good looking piece if used to keep lite wt curios..

The look of the shelf is very nice but as it is bamboo it is delicate too so don't put so much of weight on it all i am concerned reading the comments is how to save is fr fungus during monsoon season.Overall i am satisfied be very delicate with the weight nd while assembling the shelf.

Very fraudulent product can not bear the load of ordinary stationary the wood is of very poor quality and shear off easily

Very sturdy book shelf; can be assembled in matter of minutes.I wish to suggest to provide extra screws with the pack.What you provide are non-standard ones and one may not easily get it in local hardware shops. Why being stingy - is it our national procedural behaviour ?

If you compare the actual shelf with the image provided by the seller (which I've included here), which shows the arm of a sofa on the left, and the product dimensions, then the seller's image is clearly photoshopped to make the bookcase look taller than it actually is. The correct dimensions are mentioned in the product description, though. The wrong type of Allen key was supplied, but thankfully found an Allen key from my collection gathered over the years of IKEA shopping which did fit the screws. The bookcase goes together quite easily. It is match-stick thin, and will not take much weight. The gap between the slats in the shelves is big, so you can't stand books upright as they will fall through the gaps. Overall, a nice enough shelving unit but not as described or expected. Perhaps would work in a bathroom, storing some towels, light things in little boxes? Not sturdy enough for lots of books, and too many gaps to display anything small. The image of the photoshopped bookcase is deliberately misleading, which is unacceptable.

It’s good for keeping books or toys for kids .. I had doubt on its durability but quite satisfied now !! Don’t expect it to be heavy duty but still looks good and good for that price!!
