Must have for floating trem systems!
High quality strings with a long life and stellar tone. Have been a Slinky guy the whole 25 years of playing. Recently purchased a Double locking trem system, and didn't want strings that go dull after a few practices since setting up a floating bridge is fairly time consuming. These strings go a long long way. Only change them when one breaks. Even a new string when an older set matches tone once broken in, which only takes about a week so you don't need to change the whole every time a string breaks. More money up front saves you a bunch of money down the road with Elixirs. And the tone and feel is top notch! If you have a floating trem system I highly recommend using Elixir!

The best of the best, for me. . .
I've been using these strings forever—I can't remember how long. To me, they are just the best. I play gigs once a week and play almost every day at home, and these last me almost a year. Granted, I rotate three guitars. I don't like overly bright strings, so they work for me. The tension is just perfect (on 25.5-scale guitars). They are smooth, consistent, and just sound so good to me. When I play a new guitar with D'addarios or Ernie Balls, they feel like low-quality wires. I also have Elixirs on my acoustics, and they are perfect as well, and they last at least a year for me.

Bright sounding
Strings are nice and bright on my Stratocaster. Once stretched out, they stay in tune pretty well.

A value for the incredible longevity
These strings have a slightly different feel than a traditional uncoated string, so they take a little getting used to, but the longevity is amazing. After a few weeks of playing, I have gotten accustomed to the feel and am pleased that the required string changes are so infrequent. The tone is slightly different than a traditional string, but this is a small tradeoff for the incredibly long life. I would describe the tone as less metallic and less resonant. With traditional strings, I can get 5 star tone for about 1 week but I can get 4.5 star tone for months out of these. These are the only strings that I buy and the only reason that I would buy traditional strings wlould be for applications when absolute best sound quality is required (big time recording session or something of that nature).Even though the price per pack is higher, these strings are a value and are great for home use, bar gigging and almost every other situation.
