WORKS WELL!
I've used this for years and it ROCKS! It is an excellent expectorant (really breaks up thick, congestive mucus), tastes VERY good with zero "medicine-y" aftertaste. Kids love it! It's homeopathic, so no chance of taking too high of a dose. HIGHLY recommend for adults and children. It is a bit expensive, but oh-so worth it!

this stuff works quite well at relieving bad symptoms of cold and flu type a thing. some say it didnt help her cough , but made her feel better . I found it did as advertised.

Take it as soon as you get sick.
I was told by my kids’ NP that Umcka doesn’t have active ingredients, but I’m ok with that. It still help my children, but I have to make sure I give it to them right as I notice that they are starting to get sick. They love the flavor and take it without giving me any hard time.

It’s very good I have used this product for years!! You need to start as soon as you start not feeling good because it will work better!!! But works fabulous!!!

Effective Cold Remedy
This syrup was very helpful in reducing my cold symptoms. It also tastes good and is easy to swallow.

I think Umcka works, but no way to know for sure...
I tried Umcka in Fall 2010, and I believe my kids and I did avoid several colds by using Umcka at the first sign of illness, and continuing Umcka until all symptoms were gone. It did not work when there was any delay in taking Umcka after symptoms started (like on Day 2 of a cold). My kids do not complain about taking the medicine. My husband has tried Umcka, but is not convinced that it worked for him. I believe in it enough to continue keeping Umcka on hand for whenever a cold threatens to strike the family.
