The canvas material is nice and rustic. The vials are larger than I thought. We might use this for hot beverages (coffee, hot cocoa, tea, honey, etc.) instead of spices.

Love this spice set!I love the idea and design of this spice set and the screw top bottles are great but the cork tops aren’t secure. Two tops came off on my first use and spilled the contents. Would love this with all screw top bottles. Sadly, will be returning it.EDIT: I would happily keep this item if it came with all screw bottles, I really like it a lot. TobWolf, please consider this. This is a great set up for those looking to be compact with camping gear. My one concern is impact resistance, this couldn't take much of a hit and you risk breaking your bottles so make sure to protect it.

If you are a traveler that likes to cook your own food on the road, this is perfect. We needed to bring spices and sauces that are used for Korean cooking. This worked perfectly and we’ll continue using this when we travel.

Edit 6/19/23:The seller contacted me and offered me a refund based on my review, I countered with that I would be happy if all of the bottles were screw on instead of having 4 of them with corks. They offered to credit my order of replacement screw on bottles which I received and am now very happy, not only with the product, but also with their customer service!Original Review:I just used my kit for the first time this weekend, when I opened them while camping, one of the corks had come loose, but luckily nothing had spilled. When I got home, another cork on my cinnamon had come off and cinnamon was pretty much everywhere. Looking for another solution now...

bought this as a gift for my brother in law, and he takes it with him when he travels most of the time. it is kind of a niche gift, but it is dang cool and he has gotten much use from it.

I like everything about the product itself but one of the corks was missing, and I did not find it anywhere else in the packaging. I'm a little sad because now I need to look for a replacement cork that will fit it or I won't be able to use that vial.

The top row has only cork screw material. The top row of bottles opens so easily and all your spices fall out. The bottom row has a proper lid to close the spices. However there's two layers. One is the metal/plastic silver lid the second layer is this plastic material that breaks off and you can't get into the bottle of spices anymore. Would not recommend.
