The camera was easy to install and once set up it worked well. viewing quality is very good and ideal to be able to rotate with the phone. Like all cameras, they don't mention the need for subscription. The subscription is very cheap compared to some other brands but can be used without. But with it,the camera identify between car, animal ,person and movement. I use mine to watch my car outside at night and only set to human movement otherwise due to traffic It would give you notification. Notifications can be turned off and on for each type,also the detection are can be set to an area. Such as a door and so only flags when someone enters the door.The light is ok for a garage when dark,but mine is on the front street which has a street light. The microphone and speaker is ok, clear enough to understand.

Great camera- easy to set up, app is user friendly and lots of functions. The video is clear and wide span. Camera can be remotely adjusted, has a microphone and a light, as well as a siren if needed. Super camera for the price and in general!

Good camera. For day and night. Easy to install. Easy to set up on the app. Inserted memory card. I would recommend to friends and family. Neighbours already wanting one and asking me to order for them. Price is great.

It’s perfect security can for my backyard and it’s working perfectly fine the picture quality is great it’s easy to install as well easily accessible anywhere from the phone just need only connection with WiFi and everything is working properly after that

I have to say for the price these are really good!! We have two in the house for dog watching and two outside for security and they are brilliant! Clear and so so easy to install! I actually do recommend these tbf

I like to be fair in reviews, so will start saying that so far in general the camera has been good. Setup was easy and images are fine both day and night.The problem comes with movement detection. At night any rain or flies are detected and identified as human, starting a recording and trying to follow with the auto tracking, which results in some admittedly amusing jerky camera movements. Also results in many, many false alarms, which is less funny. I have reduced motion sensitivity to minimum but to no effect. I suspect that the IR light is reflected off the raindrops and triggering the motion detection, but no idea why the AI human detection interprets tiny dots of light as a human. Perhaps this particular AI is not ready to take over they world just yet.I wrote to Imou customer service about this to ask for suggestions, but got no response at all, so they are pretty useless too.Will post if I have any updates.

Oh dear I hate this camera! I am no novice at setting up cameras- I have other cameras which I myself installed. However I thought I would replace one and was looking for a cheaper option. I got this camera quickly and set up the Wi-Fi connection with ease which is normally an issue . Getting the thing on its stand is fiddly once in position you think your ready to go - oh no this is where your fun starts finding the memory card slot - only it still doesn’t record - I have not remedied this yet ! The dam siren when it detects me passing it inside the home- warning don’t try setting this camera up at 6 am as I did the alarm is loud and could wake the dead! I have not found a way of turning of this ridiculous siren ! The camera does not pick up me walking past it to feed the birds but catches movement inside the house ! Possibly a Wi-Fi issue I don’t know but annoying! Basically the issue is the control system for this product is impossible to navigate- i am coming of the app and going on you tube looking for answers it is driving me mad ! The use of a memory card seems to be un favourable as they ask you to use their storage but it’s more expensive than other security cameras. I simply am struggling to get this camera to work as it should! I will replace the memory card today if it still refuses to record - I am putting it back in the box and returning it or I will loose my sanity! Don’t buy this camera because it is overly complicated to operate and as yet does not work .

I was dubious when I saw a review about how bad it was to set up and how complicated to install but after realising that not everyone is capable of operating a phone app (to turn off the alarm) I went ahead and it was worth it.30 minutes to install it, 3 minutes to set it up, its so easy to set up and operate. I now have 4 Imou cameras recording to SD cards locally and to my NAS drive over the network. I might even replace one of the other 3 with another of these.My only gripe is the tracking is a bit random at times but the ability to move the camera from the app manually and 5mp image more than makes up for it.
