1 gallon was more than enough for this half acre, semi deep pond. Murkiness From algae Cleared up in days after application. Did not even use the entire gallon! Love the color.

I spiced up my 1100 gallon koi pond with just 1/8th of a cup of this dye. Looks great, especially if you have lighter colored rocks on the bottom. You may not get the same effect with a black liner. Very nice, quick shipping, quality product. No harm to fish or plants. No staining of rocks, liner, etc. A little bit goes a long way...you can always add more, so start with just a tad and adjust to your preference. Too much? Just give it time, it fades down with rain and in a couple weeks.

Overall the product works. I don't know if it out lasts other products on the market. I gave it 4 stars because of the price.

Spread it through pond and silt pond that are roughly an acre and a half together. Average depth 12 feet. 9 hours later, pretty blue water. Can't speak on longevity, but it sure is pretty.

This color is easy to use but be careful because it is pretty potent it's got that perfect tropical-ish ocean-ish teal-ish color to it. I'm pretty picky as I do water features for a living when it comes to color. Just do yourself a favor and add a little bit walk away come back and see it from afar before you add more.

Works quickly and looks amazing! I enjoy a natural water look, but my husband loves the blue/tropical/islandy look!So, its awesome foe that. It's a but on pricey side, but safe for the environment and animals that may drink the water.Great product.

Received this item and it was leaking

This was so easy to use. We poured it along our shoreline of our pond and within 2 hours it had spread throughout the whole pond. We were preparing for our son’s wedding in our back yard and this made our pond look beautiful. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Just make sure you wear gloves as it stains quite easily before it’s mixed with water. We have pet ducks and dogs who are always in the water and it is non toxic and doesn’t transfer to water fowl or pets.
