Is this guranteed to be compatible with garmen drivesmart 65? is it on a micro sd card?

I used an earlier version (2021?), it had various map errors. Some comical (like counting all openings around a roundabout as 'Exits' even though many are Entrances). More seriously, there were routing bugs which did not properly pick the best motorway exit. The SD Card I used was compatible with the '55. Because of the routing bug (& to get Map updates), I simply bought a used '55 in the UK.

Will this work with the 300i?

If that's an Alpha 300i, then yes, this map will work for you.

How can the uk map be updated after it's loaded into the gps?

The maps can't be updated, you have to buy another download or SD card. Only maps purchased directly from Garmin or other GPS can you purchase updates
