Products are sold based on weight, not volume. Products settle. That being said, the bottle should be pretty full. If not, then weigh it.The flavor is good. Granulated. It is fine granules, but it is granulated. Some may think it is powder-like, but it is fine granules. Really makes no difference to me in pretty much every single application.We go through a lot of onion powder/granules/diced, and this is a good size container that should carry us over for awhile. I either use directly from container, or I fill up a smaller container for extra easy grab. I use spices all the time, all manner of types, and onion is nearly always included in whatever I am cooking. I adore onion powder sprinkled over burgers even if I am using slices of onion. Something about the taste of onion powder just makes it extra delicious.I like McCormick products, and find most of their stuff reasonably priced. When it comes to some basics such as this, I tend to let price dictate my purchase decision so long as the brand is one I trust. McCormick isgood balance of quality and price.

The size of this product has worked for me, it’s a great size to use it a lot of times. It smells amazing, it’s very easy to use, the flavor is phenomenal. I tend to use a lot of onion powder because my husband doesn’t like to see or taste onions so this has been a great addition to my pantry. I love using it when making ceviche because when I use actual onion the ceviche tends to gravitate a lot towards the onion and for the next day all I can taste is the onion which isn’t something I or my husband like. This onion powder allows the other flavors to shine through even for the next day. It’s been a lifesaver! I 100% recommend this product, great quality

McCormick is one of my preferred seasoning brands and I love how affordable this one is.I got this giant bottle for an even cheaper price than the 6oz in store. This 14 oz container will likely last at least a year or more with how often I cook and is a much better deal than buying the smaller sizes.Regarding taste, I think its packs a punch. The ground onion is a also great consistency, not too powdery or chunky like other brands.Honestly my favorite thing may be the packaging. You know that irritating thing where you can't get any seasoning out, as all the holes are clogged? THIS NEVER HAPPENS WITH THIS ONE. The dispenser holes aren't too small and I haven't experienced the dreaded clumping that often happens.

I cook for myself and I can go through one of these canisters in less than a year. The granulated onion doesn't clump up. Very happy with each purchase. It's very good value and I am happy with the quality of the product.
