Blu-ray box and disc are okay. Film is great.
Not a big fan of the Blu-ray box it was sent in. Perhaps it's because I'm new to collecting Blu-ray, but it's not a semi-transparent box like the other movies I have. The disc is blue and does not have an image printed on it.Aside from the product, the film itself is great! Although, I wouldn't have wanted a physical copy of it if it wasn't for Cate Blanchett. She and the other actors heavily carried this movie and it wouldn't have been that memorable if the roles were casted differently.

Authentic remake of a classic film
Guillermo del Toro has created a brilliant version of an old Holywood movie "The Geek", originally starring Tyrone Power. All the sets and costumes are meticulously authentic and the actors play their parts convincingly, particularly Cate Blanchett as a scheming shrink. The days of the carney are gone, but their spirit can be reawakened by inspired directors such as del Toro.

Beautifully crafted cinema
Impeccable cinematography, impeccable acting from a wonderful cast, rich and engaging sets, and all brought together by the exceptional directing of Guillermo Del Toro.A beautifully shot and paced noir, Nightmare Alley delivers a suspenseful story of greed and hubris. Though the fantasy elements of Guillermo's previous films is absent, it's still unmistakably the result of his vision and retains the underlying dark tension that runs through all his work. This is a film of equal beauty to The Shape of Water in many ways, though with a slower pace. Definitely worth a watch.

Gripping - Intelligent - suspenseful
It`s along movie - too long for the cinema if you have a big soda - but for home viewing and that important pause button, stock up on drinks and snacks, take a P break at about 1 hour 45min, then watch to the end.. Enjoy.
