Very comfortable shoes

This is an excellent shoe at any price, but an exceptional value at what I paid—probably the most comfortable running shoe I have ever purchased. The fit is tight without being constrictive, and the cushioning is just the right amount; not too soft, but soft enough to cushion every step. I have only run twice in it, but it amazed me at how comfortable and lightweight the shoes were both times.I would say this is a solid choice for runners who are looking for a comfortable lightweight shoe with good cushioning at a reasonable price.

I bought this shoe for warm-weather walking around & light hiking, not running. (I run in a stability shoe, not a neutral.) And for the purposes intended, it seems ideal. Comfortable, lightweight, good fit for my narrow-heel foot, and sharp looking ... all at a nice price. Cannot speak to long-term durability as this is a recent purchase. But the shoe appears to be well made, and being someone who's picky about shoes -- if it isn't just right I won't wear it -- so far, I like the Revel 5.

Everything is great about the shoe, the fit, the feel, but the only thing I don’t like about it is the loop in the back. The loop was not present on the Revel 2 or 3, and I feel it’s unnecessary. It gets in the way of your pants coming all the way down onto the shoe.Other than than the loop, I find the revel series more comfortable and a better fit for my feet when compared with the ghost, and the glycerin’s. I wear a 12 1/2 so I’m in the place where I can rarely find any shoes that fit just right. So far, for a few years in a row now, the Brooks Revel has been my go to shoe due to this issue. They are also not as expensive as the other top-tier Brooks shoes.Will continue to buy, and will live with the loop as long as they keep fitting well. Brooks if you’re reading this though, drop the loop. It’s just not needed.

Excellent Shoes for running .....Looks Good too!

The best feeling athletic shoe I have ever worn! I will purchase Brooks again!

Purchased brand new for our Disney world trip. Wore them once to the store and that was all the “break in” that I did. Wore them the entire time in Disney walking 8-10 miles a day. These are very comfortable, light, and breathable. You can barely feel them on your feet. No fatigue or foot aches. Highly recommend and I’m a big guy (6’2”, 275). I had another pair of Brooks previously and the only issue I have is I need to get one size higher than my other shoes (need their size 13 instead of size 12).
