Sold as a "booster" pump, but inlet pressure cannot exceed 30 psi. Of course, you won't know this until you read the instructions. So I've had to buy a pressure regulator for the input and install in parallel with a brass check valve, in the event that the system needs more water than this can supply.. We'll see how durable this is as a pressure booster. Update: Pleased with it We've got much better water pressure, ran constantly for the first week, off and on all night long. It has settled in., now only runs when the water is on. May be due to another component in my water system, but it 's working appropriately now. Bumping my review up a notch.

This has been the worst out of the pressure pumps we have purchased. We have terrible water pressure and use this to boost our shower. We usually go through about one pump a year, which seems fair with minimal but daily usage, but this one stopped working in barely two months. Definitely would not purchasing again.

Perfect for my soft wash projects! I use a 35 gallon trash can, add my water, bleach, & dawn soap. Connect a short hose from trash can to the pump inlet. Use a regular garden hose on output side with wand of “shower”, and get my project completed! Rinse everything down after 5-7 minutes & run water through the pump & hoses, so there clean for next time. I’ve used the pump multiple times over 2 years & it works great every time!

I use this water pump to soft wash my metal roof which gets heavily coated with sticky pollen every spring. This pump saves me the 1000's of dollars it would cost to pay someone to wash my roof every year. The pump's strong spray can put a water/soap and bleach mixture high on my roof with minimal use of ladders. Well worth it.
