I will start by saying that I REALLY like this brand. I bought these bowls because we love their suction plates. The bowls are sturdy and well made - they're heavy (in a good way - it at least isn't light where its easy for my 7 month old to just swat off the table or his tray) and I like that there are measurement lines inside - that is a nice touch.Now for my big gripe - the suction on the bowls. If you stick them down just right and only yank up and down, they stick VERY well. However, the bowl will slide around and not stay put. Also, if it doesn't suction down just right it doesn't stick at all. My kiddo just slides the bowl around til it pops up which defeats the point of the suction. We'll still use them because they still function as bowls and are well built but the suction is a pointless feature.

I bought these because I needed a bowl for my toddler's oatmeal that wouldn't move when he tried to eat by himself. The suction on these bowls overall is very good. They stick to every surface I've tried so far (and some that I prefer they didn't, like the sink and fridge shelf). The main issue I have with them is that they do not suction to my son's high chair table after I microwave his oatmeal in them for 30 seconds. I've tried without microwaving and the bowls stick fine to this same table. Even though they don't suction, the silicone material does help keep them more stable than the plastic bowls I previously used, which would slide around at the slightest touch. Although they're not working as I'd originally hoped, I've made the best of them. The amount of mess my son makes with them is significantly less than before. What I appreciate most is that the company reached out to me about this issue and offered me a full refund. I have previously purchased WeeSprout products in the past (my favorite is the portioned freezer containers with lids) so I'm happy to know that this company really stands behind their products and cares about their customers' satisfaction.

I got for my husband after he suffered a stroke. They were very helpful. Stayed in place, great size, and easy to clean.

UPDATE: This company goes beyond good customer service. Wow!! Definitely a return customer!! While i had trouble with the bowls suctioning (see original review below) their plates and mats suction amazingly well, and the bibs are fantastic and easy to clean. Love this company and their products.Original review:This bowl is good quality and easy to clean, but the bowl is a little deep for my baby to try to lean to use on his own.Also, the suction doesn’t work on my high chair!! I have this brand plates and those suction great to the high chair…these…not at all. I’ve tried it dry I’ve tried it damp, doesn’t matter. Set it there, looked away for two seconds, looked back and whole bowl of oatmeal in my baby’s lap LOL what a mess!

UPDATE:Since my original review, WeeSprout kindly reached out. I am very impressed by their level of care for their customers! Because of this, I’ve added another star to the review. While the bowls still don’t suction well for us, I absolutely love other products by WeeSprout such as the suction divided plates, spoons (with travel case), and stainless steel storage bowls. We will continue to support this wonderful small business! I hope we can try the glass jars & Little Chef baking set soon!! Overall, the suction on the bowls has not drawn us away from WeeSprout. We love their cute and practical products!Original review:I think the bowls are adorable and I love that they match the WeeSprout suction plates we have. I also like they the bowls have lids to store leftovers. However? The suction isn’t nearly as strong as the suction plates :/ My son can easily pick up the bowls and ends up spilling the contents… hence the picture… I just wish they had better suction and then they would be flawless!

***My honest review below remains the same but I am updating to add that Weesprout has absolutely blown me away with their excellent customer service, so I added an extra star. You should feel confident buying this product knowing that if you aren't completely satisfied they are going to make it right. After my initial 3-star review posted, they contacted me and asked if I wanted a full refund! I don't want to go into full detail here but the most meaningful thing was a handwritten card delivered to my address. Y'all, this company is legit about customer satisfaction so if you're at all unsure, give them a chance. People like Weesprout should absolutely be given preference over the foreign-run cheap-o crap you can buy online. I'd give them 10 stars for customer satisfaction category.****Bowls are a great size, shape, color, easy to clean. Ok. But here are some issues.1. Suction...when you get a good suction, its great! Tends to stick at annoying times on my counter and sink. Easy to remove though. First time I put it on the tray, baby grabbed at it and couldn't move it.Later I took the bowl of leftovers out and pressed it down on the tray and it would not suction. The directions state that you have to not only have a perfectly clean surface and bottom (and maybe add some water to the bottom), but must push in the center of the bowl...I dunno about you but I purchased these because they have lids, which means there are leftovers in the bowl and I'm not putting my hands into a bunch of mush. Its hard to push down evenly by the rim because well, it's entirely made of silicone so it's very flexible.Which brings me to...2. Lids don't stay on under "normal" use. Maybe y'all are really careful with your silicone dishes, but I tend to be a little careless with my non-breakables. I loved that the description said "throw it in your diaper bag" full of snacks. But friends, after receiving this I decided I would never ever put it in a diaper bag and expect the lid to stay on. Again, its a silicone bowl and flexible, so the tiniest bump flexes the side and the lid will leak or even come off. Its fine to put on the lid and store in fridge, but the lid SITS on the bowl, it doesn't seal with any kind of authority. Yeah there's a little internal lip but it is weak sauce.In short, the suction works if the bowl is empty and you can press down in the middle and have some water handy to prep the bottom. The lids sit on top and are not trustworthy. Not worth the price, sorry.
