Great first pair of boots!
I’m an ice skater but decided to learn inline skating at 49 years old. In my opinion, these boots are fantastic to get you started. Reasonable price for a hard shell boot that looks great and offers great protection as you learn to balance yourself. They are very comfortable and do not hurt at all. The sock insert is removable to allow proper washing. Two negatives, there is no brake included which could be useful as a beginner, and the instructions are not in English. I totally recommend this item.

Good value, and adaptable
It's normally recommended that you spend at least twice as much as this for inline skates, and preferably double that again, but these really aren't bad for testing whether skating is for you. The boots are firm and do the job well. One of the reviews mentions a strap breaking, and they look impossible to fix or replace, but if you suffer that misfortune you could extend the laces up to the top by making new holes, and that should maintain the ability to use the boot. The frames are good, though heavy - you get what you pay for in that regard. The wheels are robust and won't wear down excessively fast. They also roll well. One issue for beginners is that the middle wheels are 80mm and the end ones are 76, so the way they're set up is designed for manoeuvrability rather than stability, but you can move the 80s to the ends and 76s to the middle while learning the basics, and that will also wear the 80s down to be better relative sizes when you switch them back to their original places. The frame itself has no rocker (meaning the axels are all that the same height instead of the end ones being higher), so rocker is achieved using wheels of different sizes, and this allows the skates to turn more easily, but it does make them less stable front to back, which is why beginners should switch their positions round, and there is a bit too much rocker due to the 2mm height off the ground difference between the 76 and 80mm wheels where a 1mm difference would be preferable. There's a review that suggests you should order a bigger boot size than normal, but that's not a good plan: you aren't looking for comfort, but a tight fit. They must not be loose, and they will get less tight over time as the liners compress. Now, I should tell you the reason I bought these, because it wasn't for the boots, although they're better than I expected and it seems a shame not to use them. I just wanted affordable frames and wheels to do an experiment to try to adapt inline skates to use normal shoes so that they can be made practical as a mode of transport. I liked the look of these frames as there was room to fit a brake over the middle two wheels, but there were also multiple options as to where to attach a long pole to go up to the knee to provide stability from there instead of using a boot to pinch the lower leg half way up. This provides more leverage and makes everything much more comfortable. I have one such prototype skate now working, and this was the right pair of skates to use for it. The holes through the frame are also good for locking my resin additions into place, so I strongly recommend it to anyone else who wants to do experiments of this kind.

Wheels of satisfied fun.
Super comfy. Super sturdy. Super wheely. Super with no complaints. Please note that I am a lay person who loves roller blading. I am not of alympic standard. LOL
