FoodSaverReusable Gallon Vacuum Zipper Bags

I have tried every conceivable product to keep food fresh to last longer. Even still, cheeses start to mold, lunch meat gets yucky, etc.Using Foodsaver reusable zipper bags with my vacuum sealer checks all the right boxes and I am over the moon with this winning combo. Not only does this prevent tossing away food, but you can reuse these bags over and over.I will not use another brand because the quality and thickness of the material AND the zip closure make this the best!I love that they include a handy tool in each box to assist the "zip close" process.The valves work great, the zip tops stay sealed, and you easily wash/dry them to use another time. WIN-WIN!!

I've asked about a replacement for what appears to be half a zipper clip but have been repeatedly advised that they are not 'sold separately'. After a series of, albeit polite, non-answers by email, I'm none the wiser if it came like this (photo included) or has come apart. Either way, I don't have the other half and my concern remains unresolved. In any event, I would like at least two of these plastic clips concerned that I'll not be able to use what, after all, are expensive bags without them. In the meantime, returning it is not ideal as I will then be left with nothing and, in any event, a return label recurrently mentioned has not emerged.

We bought a pack of these for freezing bulk order meat and sous vide cooking. I have to say they've held up much better than expected. We sous vide our steaks to 130F from frozen and the bags have survived with very little deformation and zero failures. We've started using them more than our vacuum sealer since we don't have to worry about marinades messing up the sealing process.

I originally left a bad review because I thought my hand sealer extension on my v4400 which has an ovular shape would not work with these bags due to the bag port having a circular shape. But it works fine and these bags work very well! I’m very happy with them. Note that these bags are not for long term freezing storage in my opinion, that’s what the regular vacuum seal rolls are for. These are meant for refrigerated items that will be accessed regularly and used within a relatively short period of time. This is just my opinion, I use them for fresh produce mostly and any left over food that will be eaten soon and I want kept fresh as possible until then. I love these bags and will probably buy more in different sizes and such
