Fast delivery, leather is a lttle stiff but with conditioning and wear I think will soften in time. I like the U.S. logo on the flap. Sticking seems good. I'm happy with this purchase.

The holster exudes quality . The only thing is that it is a little tight for my 1858 Remington and I had to pull the flap a with a little force to be able to close the leather tong on the hole ,but it will stretch out , I left the gun inside the closed holster so tomorrow it will be less tight ..Otherwise, the holster is , for the money , a great deal . I am satisfied for sure .

It fits my Cimarron 1858 New Model Army 8" 45 colt just like it was made for it! Price is great too and you can just smell that rich leather. I'm happy with it.

The design and material quality appears very good BUT the leather was very hard and impossible for the gun to be inserted into the holster. I soaked the holster for 36 hours with a liberal amount of Neatsfoot Oil and then warmed up the leather with a hair dryer before I could open the holster wide enough to accept the Remington 1858 BP revolver. I am now awaiting to see if the holster will pattern to the actual gun.

i was afraid there might be no plug in the bottom because it's such an inexpensive holster, but there was! fits my 1860 army like a glove. great for the money, compared to other flap holsters on the market.
