I've teetered between 4 and 5 stars for this review, and here's why. I really do love these bags. You can't beat the price, and, these bags are much thicker than more expensive bags are. They're a good, thick quality. That being said, I did have 2 that burst open at the seams. That was no good. Now, that isn't purely the bag's fault. I was using a very stiff frosting. This is why I wish I could give this 4.5 stars. For a very creamy filling or frosting, this piping bag is perfect. It's large so you can twist the top as compared to folding it, which is better for doing things like dirty icing or crumb icing a large surface with a soft frosting, or filling something with a cream filling. This bag is fantastic for that sort of skill. However, I used this bag for using russian flower tips and piping 80 cupcakes with flowers. This maybe was not a great plan. While the tips fit great, and this bag was definitely thick enough that I could put the russian tips in tightly without the bag ripping (these tips have to be tight against the plastic because they don't have a coupler), the bags are hard to use with super super stiff icing that's needed for russian tips. WIth super thick icing, the bags burst at the seams, and I actually got pockets of air in the bags that made it really hard for the icing to have enough pressure to be pushed out of the tip.These bags are definitely worth getting, and I'll order them again when I run out (in years, because this is a fantastic amount of bags for the price!) However, just keep in mind that different baking supplies will yield different results based on the quality, texture, and thickness of your ingredients.

I bought these to practice icing cookies. Bigger than I needed but that is a plus. They are thick and do no burst. Tip stayed in without a coupler. Anyone with issues must be a complete newbie to using piping bags.

I have used these in the past and they are a really good bag.
