This might be a dumb question but do you put the crackers into this container in their original sleeve?

Yes! I not only keep my crackers in their original sleeve, I also clamp the original sleeve with a binder clip. Unfortunately, the lid on mine is not air-tight at all. Hence; the crackers would go stale.
