Good story, well written. A first book from a new author....what’s not to like!

I loved this book. Beautifully written with skilfully crafted images of an alternative society and the coming of age of two of the characters. You are drawn into their lives and feel part of it and want to know and understand the decisions that they come to. However it is not simply a coming of age romance. It explores beliefs, ethics and how karma shapes our behaviour and actions and in turn how these affect others .
