Pictures taken on Aug. 3 2022. Bought this based on all the reviews. I lost a lot of hair to Covid and stress back on Feb. Picked this up in July and today its Aug. 3 rd. I’m still waiting to see to see any new growth. My hair does feel moisturized, I can go longer period of times with out washing it. Tried going at least 4 days, but I wanted to see new hair growth so I try washing it every other day and allowing it to set for at least 4 min after shampooing and conditioning. That’s how desperate I am. I didn’t by it to moisturize my hair I bought it to make my hair grow. Thus far I really haven’t noticed anything. I’m going to go another month to update this review to see it there is any changes. I was hoping to see something. A year ago I made my own rice water rinse. Where you leave it on an hour, even though you add your own essential oils to mask the horrible smell of the rice water, that did work. It is a very nice shampoo and conditioner and noticed that after getting my hair colored I hardly saw any of my color going down the drain, however I do see some hair loss going down and getting stuck on the drain screen. I promise to update In another month to let you know if there’s been any new growth, I was hoping to see a little hair growth. Haven’t seen it yet. It does smell good, but I didn’t buy it to moisturize, for smell of for conditioning, I bought it stop my hair from falling out and to regrow my hair. The company was kind enough to return my money, they do as they say. Back their product 100%

Smells good and also helps keep the frizzys down

So let me begin by saying that I have Hypothyroidism. Unfortunately, when/if it gets bad enough it means that hair can fall out. A lot. My husband is also losing his hair (because men do that) so I went looking for a decent shampoo to switch to. I found this Castor Oil stuff and since I've always used Maple Holistics I jumped on it immediately. I figured we could both use it and compare results. I've been using it for a week and a half. He hasn't used his yet because he wants to finish his old shampoo first. >.< So MY results are as follows: First wash: My hair was slightly oily but very soft. The breakage amount upon brushing was reduced a little, but it was nothing spectacular. I just clipped it up and forgot about it since oily hair doesn't style well. Second wash: The oily residue was gone. My hair was very soft and easy to brush and detangle. I was able to style it as normal though I did notice that my hair got a little bit oily toward the end of the day. Third wash: Seriously, no oily residue and my hair seemed to stop breaking. I also noticed about 50% less shedding and my hair seems thicker now. Fourth wash: Hair shedding reduced by about 90% and my hair is so fluffy and pretty. I'm REALLY happy about this! I only wash my hair every two days or so because of the rate it had been falling out. I'm seriously so elated by this that I'll probably start washing it more often <3 I've also recommended this shampoo to my mother whose hair is falling out after suffering a heat stroke. It's amazing! Thank you SO much Maple Holistics! I know, realistically, that losing your hair isn't that big of a deal....but being a bald woman is actually kinda scary with the way we judge beauty. I feel like this has kinda saved me.

I've searched for years for a shampoo and conditioner that worked on my hair long term, gave volume but also hydrated my hair. I have medium thickness with a scalp that leans toward oily with dandruff. Most conditioners leave my hair feeling limp and my scalp oily after a day. I've tried national brands as well as holistic ones and this is the first set that I've really loved for a long time. I've used this brand for a few years now and recommend it to everyone to try. I have long hair (middle of my back to low back) and I still have volume on the roots. The castor oil helps my hair stay strong and grow quickly (an inch a month). My hair feels soft, it has a nice shine, and it conditions my scalp without causing my hair to be oily. I dye my hair and I still get compliments on how soft my hair is. The smell is also light and lovely. It is safe for dyed hair but does not help keep the color. That would really be my only complaint. But I don't expect that from a natural shampoo/conditioner.

Okay so. . . I've been looking and researching about hair growth and I came across this one. My normal hair do is a tight bun with so much gel and hairspray, due to work. I have to have my hair pulled back so tight and neatly in a bun. Anyways, my hair has been breaking off for the past 6 years, as well as my hair line had been slowly but surely moving further up in my forehead. I am also getting bald spots on my forehead because of how much, and to what side, I pull my hair.. anyways. The shampoo is not so soapy. I have to put a good amount in order for it to gain so much foam. . I do leave the shampoo and conditioner on for at least 3 mins. The conditioner does soften my hair. . I did notice after using 1 bottle of each, my baby hairs where growing fast! I am not where I want to be yet, but I do recommend and will do, is continue buying this shampoo and making it my daily. For reference, my hair is long, not so thick but not think, frizzy, damaged and wavy.
