I honestly don't know how good or bad this product is, despite using them for years.I open it, and the smell is overwhelming. I smell it for the next couple of days, then I don't. Maybe I'm used to the smell, or maybe it stopped smelling. I've never asked anyone.I use them for entertainment. I watch the little balls shrink over time, and wonder if that sludge at the bottom will ever fully evaporate. I have one from 5 years ago that is still full of oil sludge. Sometimes I'll refill them with water to see the orbeez expand, then slowly shrink. I keep all the old ones just in case I find a use for them. I imagine combining them all into a mega container and seeing them all expand at once.They always continue to smell if you put your nose up to the container.I've managed to write the most worthless review. I said nothing while saying a lot. I don't think I would recommend them, but I will still buy them out of habit. At least I can expense them against the business.

Good value for the money, I put some of the beads in my sinks too really smells wonderful.

I love this stuff. I ordered the sweet lavender & violet scent. I've used it for years, then after the pandemic, i couldnt find it anywhere. My order did leak in the box, but it didnt leak dry. Maybe a little tape around the neck of the jars.

I've been using these Scent Gems for about a year now, and I like them much more than any other sort of air freshener or odor neutralizer I've tried. Air fresheners in general normally give me a headache, and odor neutralizers work for about five minutes. I got these initially to use in a small public restroom and a stuffy, old public conference room. Both rooms had unique, and unpleasant, odors to deal with, and the Scent Gems worked a treat. For the first couple of weeks after opening a new tub, there's definitely an air freshener smell in a small room like the bathroom, and while it's pleasant, it is a little powerful if you're sensitive. But in a larger room like the conference room, it's not noticeable at all. What IS noticeable is that the space simply smells fresh and clean. My first tubs lasted me almost six months, though the product listing says it will last "up to 45 days." I would reckon that the draftier the room, the faster the little balls will evaporate. My rooms have almost NO ventilation or cross breezes whatsoever, so they lasted a good long time.Be sure not to pull the seal off the tub when small children or pets are nearby - if one of the little balls goes bouncing across the room they'll definitely want to chase after it, and I'm not sure what the balls are made of, but I doubt it's something you want anyone eating!

So, I saw a TikTok video (of course 🙄) where you get these and add Vicks rub. It's supposed to keep mice and bugs away. While I cannot vouch for the TT "hack," used alone AND with the Vicks, the og sent of the beads smells SOOO good. I'll be buying more just to keep my house smelling good. The price of the beads and the easy to use containers make this a regular purchase for our house.

I was hoping these would work in an open space, but it was a disappointment. I initially bought these to put in my bathrooms, but unless you're standing right near them, you can't smell them. I put one in my walk-in linen closet and that seems to work fine. If you have a smaller space where you can close the door you might have better luck.

Not overwhelming. I do wish the smell stayed stronger longer. It fades after a while. You can shake it a little and it seems to release a little more smell.

I order this item as part of my subscribe and save. When it came there was only one air freshener, even though it says "six-pack". I gave it the benefit of the doubt that a box got broke in the factory and a new person put the wrong thing in. I started a return, asking for a replacement. The replacement came today and I still only got one air freshener. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
