It comes FULLY ASSEMBLED! Just need to attach the tray with the two nuts provided. Reliable chain length between both sides of the easel stand. Hinge does not arbitrarily move past the chain’s length. No chance of it slipping, spreading apart, or tipping over with the flat bottoms. Stands tall and looks regal. Easily folds flat to collapse and store. Sturdy, strong material. Great finish on the true gold color. Wide tray for holding a heavy mirror, frame, and so on. This easel is used to hold very heavy clay painting. Easy set up, holds without sliding. Folds flat when storing. Can be moved easily. Very sturdy which is what was needed with the heavy painting. Good price on Amazon. They offered other colors as well. It does exactly what it’s supposed to!
