Elixir Strings 19002 Electric Guitar With Optiweb Coating, Super Light (.009-.042)

I've ordered 2 sets of these over the years for 2 separate guitars. I love the feel of these, makes sliding and bends more comfortable as well. I recorded comparisons between old regular strings and these, and the tone sounds exactly the same. Very durable too, even with my heavy picking style. I'll definitely buy these again.

I tried these many years ago and dismissed them as far too expensive for the actual result. They came on my Taylor GS Mini and it sounded great so I tried them on my Little Martin and I was blown away with how much better they sounded. I bought some for my Epi Shereton …. So far so good!

These are good strings the sound nice on my ap2 strat.

If you did your research there isn't much for me to say. It's awesome. Put on a very low end guitar along with lower end sound pick ups and sounds sooo good.

I hadn’t tried this type string, so bought a pack for a restring. Personally, I like them, different feel. I can see why others like it, but also why others may not. If your a beginner or intermediate and haven’t tried out different types of strings by different companies, it’s worth a shot. Once you’ve explored, research, cycle through the differences, you’ll find the perfect feeling for whatever genre your into.

I have my guitars hung, I clean them every 60-90 days. These strings live on some guitars for 2-3 years without issue. I only change them to ensure bright tone after two years. My most played guitar gets a bit of wear between the pickups from high speed picking in certain spots on certain strings, but this still takes a year of near daily playing.

will never go to another brand, these are the best. hands down

Been playing over 40 years and recently got into my first Les Paul. My old standby strings were just OK on this guitar so I tried a few different sets. Some were pretty bad to the point of making it sound choked.These strings were the clear winner by far! In both tone and feel. I'll never put another brand of strings on this Les Paul.
