Clear, Concise, Well Organized and Usable
If you are looking for an exhaustive encyclopedia on everything about the aging male body, this won't meet your needs. However, if you are looking for the current science and agreed upon best anecdotal health information for those of us above 40, this is a great resource.Spiral bound, so it's easy to flip through, you will read it more than once, search sections and begin to rely on the different sections, the book is very USABLE and functional. Each chapter is summarized at the start and the entire book focuses on MOBILITY and STABILITY as well as common WEAKNESSES.I am 60 and have been doing CrossFit since 2001 (yes, the first CrossFit box in Santa Cruz) and it's not a coincidence that everything in this book is what my CF coaches have stressed as vital for those of us who are older (athletically inclined and those not-so-much). It is appropriate for ANY level of fitness from beginner to expert. If I had to describe this book in a single word, I would use the word: LONGEVITY.If I had to describe this book in a single phrase, I would use the phrase: GUIDE FOR A BETTER LIFE.So, unlike so many other "guides" out there that are faddy and easily outdated, this one does not ride on the backs of current popular trends, it's real and based on health science. Be well. And no, I have no affiliation with the author or anyone associated with the publication of this book. I AM however a medical professional, a 25+ year guide in Nepal, a long distance cyclist, a CrossFitter and the caregiver for my 100yo mom and this stuff is vital for my lifestyle.

Weird shoulder exercises
The leg and hip exercises are a good compilation, including things I have seen before and things that are new to me. The shoulder exercises seem unusual and not in a good way.The online offerings of Paul Sklar, an older fitness guru, seems a better choice.

Should've been titled "Unstoppable For Everybody"
This isn't your stereotypical "getting big biceps and pecs" book that Men's Health usually puts out. This book is more of a guide to taking care of the body you have now and keeping it playing. The author says he's a performance coach. That's easy to see because everything in this about keeping you competing. There is a even section about mental health. The only drawback is the mental health chapter wasn't bigger. It has only been two weeks but this is becoming my favorite "exercise" book.

ok
Good warm up and cool down info. That's really what the book is about. Not impressed with author writing about how wonderful THC and CBD is for recovery. NOT legal in my state.

I’m not quite unstoppable yet
The book is good, if a little basic. Exercises are nothing surprising. No real secrets here - exercise in certain age appropriate ways and eat healthy.Good for those getting into shape, not so usurping if you have that base already though it’s a good reminder and refresh.Overall, worth the price.

Why not a larger font
Maybe it’s just me but I think the font used is way too small. It makes one work harder to see the print and in turn grasp the concept. I’ll think twice about buying and other book for this vender.

Meh
There was a lot of talk about mobility and injuries. Only one chapter dealing with recovery. The rest seemed like nothing new
