I bought the 6" Appetizer plates for my kitties' wet food, and they're just what I wanted. They are dishwasher safe, lightweight but sturdy porcelain with a 1" lip and 1/8" deep well that keeps the gravy inside, like a coffee cup saucer. They were well packaged and an amazing deal at one dollar fifty-seven cents each. In the Q&A there was some confusion about the size; the plates themselves are 6 inches across, as it states in the first bullet point. The 6.75" refers to the outside package dimensions of the box. I have asked the seller to correct this. In fact, I noticed a bit of confusion all around in the Q&A and reviews. A couple of buyers wanted smaller plates. I searched all sizes by entering "10 Strawberry Street plates" and found dozens of other sizes and shapes and a 5.5" square plate, but nothing smaller. One reviewer was looking for unbreakable plates. Some options for tempered glass dishes are Corelle, IKEA Oftast, Luminarc, Duralex, and Red Barrel Studio. Porcelain is breakable. That's why the packaging is heavy-duty and somewhat "maddening" to open. This shipping box is not intended for long-term storage; you can make one that is from a plastic shoebox and layers of thin cardboard or woven grip-style shelf liner. If you do receive one that's chipped or broken or the package contains less than it should, no need to call Amazon customer service. You can click "Problem with order" in your Orders List, then Contact Seller to request a partial replacement without returning the full set. Amazon will follow up later to ask if the problem was resolved. Of 165 reviews, only one mentions missing plates and one mentions chipped/broken ones, so it doesn't appear this happens "often". Several reviewers complained they were "too small". Again, there's some confusion about 6" vs. 6.75", but it sounds like some buyers were expecting MUCH bigger plates, maybe 8" or 10" or bigger. Your best bet is to always, always use a ruler to measure before you buy. Most importantly, when a potential buyer has a question about an item you've purchased, Amazon will email you directly to ask if you can answer it. If you can't, please don't reply. Most folks want to be helpful. But if you didn't buy the same item or don't know the answer, please, just ignore the email. The same reviews and Q&As may show up under completely different products the seller has available. Thus, if you buy a seller's T-shirt, it makes no sense to try to answer a question about one of their dresses. If you did buy the same item, the best answers always contain specifics: measurements you've taken with a ruler or tape measure, information from the garment label or packaging box, durability after so many washes or months, exact weight from a scale, colors such as "orange like a Tide bottle" or "the blue on a Pepsi can", etc. Just throwing out a few pointers to make the review/Q&A process better for everyone. I dropped a 6 inch plate (not the first one I'm sorry to say) last week onto our granite countertop and as you might expect it shattered. It was time for new ones. Since our countertops are granite and the kitchen floor is tiled, I bought the 12 pack. Previously my wife had bought our 6 inch plates labeled Food Network at $3 apiece. Comparing these to those, I can see no difference other than the cost. Now mind you I didn't test to see if these would bounce off the granite back into my hands when dropped, but I am happy with them. They look as good and seem to be identical in every way to the FN branded ones.

When you receive the plates be sure to inspect them well. Which I did and found one chipped and one warped. Inside they have a little paper on how to contact the manufacture and they would take care of it. On my first email (with all the information they requested) they did reply and stated about Covid-19 issues so it may take a while - understood. On my second email over a month later there was no reply. We needed the plates so I kept them. I would suggest if you find issues just return to Amazon.

We now have the bowls, dinner and salad plates. Everything came tightly wrapped and zero broken. They stack beautiful, are light weight and classic looking. I was NOT paid for this review, nor do I work for the company. I would recommend these over and over again. Affordable, who doesn’t like to save money? Durable, because who likes to waste money? Classic looking, because I for one want my food to be the attraction. Versatile, pairs great with other pieces to decorate your table for different occasions. Hope this helps everyone!!

We got new dishes last Christmas but no bread plates. These were the perfect solution. With a house full of kids and people in and out all the time, they are great for snacks, a small breakfast, entertaining, you name it. One of my fave purchases in the past year! If you need to fill in or need to entertain, get a set or two. You will be happy you did.

Many plate settings no longer come with tea cups,those have been replaces by coffee mugs, therefore there are also no longer saucers as those went with the tea cups. These are the same size as the saucers and are perfect for appetizers or desserts.

Bought these for our two little dogs. They are the perfect size. Of course the dry food ends up on the floor anyway...guess I should have bought bowls. Well these are very nice and wash up in the dishwasher beautifully. Arrived in excellent condition.

I bought these because it looked like they'd coordinate well with our white Amazon Basic dishes and they do so perfectly. They look exactly like the set Amazon set, just smaller than the dessert/salad plates. I like and use these little plates so often that I bought a 2nd set.
