MIRALAX WHO??? The Desperate Crunchy Mama’s saving grace!
I’m writing this to the desperate crunchy mama’s who refuse to use MiraLAX : My son has on & off gone through times of constipation since starting solids. Most recently, to the point of tears in pain and ultimately needing us to intervene multiple times. I felt completely helpless. Seeing him in pain was awful. Seeing him go 6-7 days without a BM out of fear of pain, or trying with no success while doing everything I knew to do was tough. We tried prune juice, pear juice, pears, peaches, flaxseed meal, chia seeds, no diary, castor oil on his tummy, red light therapy, weekly chiropractor visits… & the list goes on. My nurse practitioner suggested we try magnesium glycinate. She didn’t recommend a brand, so I started doing my own research & came upon this one. Let me first say, I initially bought the Mixed Berry flavor which was a huge mistake. I thought that would be better than unflavored, but boy was I wrong. I couldn’t get him to take it. I tried mixing it in multiple differently types of juice mixed with water. I tried mixing it with a little bit of Just Ingredients Electrolyte powder in water. He would take one sip and refuse it. Obviously, that makes it quite hard to tell if the powder was going to be helpful to get things moving or not. I ended up buying the unflavored and that has been the best decision. I can mix it in his coconut yogurt with berries and he has no idea it’s there. It does have a milky chalky look to it so beware of that. I have tried mixing it in apple sauce, while I can typically get him to take it - doing it in yogurt has been the most successful route. I love how the unflavored doesn’t need to be mixed in a drink. My son doesn’t just sit and drink that many ounces of water at one time, so being able to put half a scoop in his food that he eats all of is perfect for us. We have consistently been doing this for about a week and a half and he has had consistent BM’s. Multiple in a day at this point with ease. There has been no more tears or physical pain - just ease, & I could cry with joy. If you’re a desperate mama like I was just trying to help your baby - please take my advice & add to cart right now. For reference my son is 15 months old and weighs around 26 pounds. I do half of a scooper and that has been perfect for him. I also added photos of this in his yogurt, in apple sauce, or in a liquid just for reference.

Great for child with special needs
My son with Autism struggles with bowel movements and constipation. We tried Miralax and it made 0 difference, the only thing that would work was suppositories which everyone hated. I stumbled upon this and wow! It has worked WONDERS! It mixes well into his beverages, and he drinks it without complaint or knowledge. Grateful to have come across this reliable alternative.

Holy Poop!
Holy poop, it worked! My 2.5 year old has always had constipation issues and was told by our pediatrician to give Miralax daily. 1. It did nothing and 2. All the side effects I stumbled upon. This mag- go was recommended by a handful of parents in a Facebook group. The first day we got it and gave my daughter one scoop mixed into her milk. She drank it with no issues. Within a couple hours she finally pooped after several days. I'm super thankful to have finally found something that works and none of the nasty side effects like Miralax. My only warning is to use less at first. My daughter is almost 33 pounds and a whole scoop cause more of a loose stool. We will be cutting it down to half a scoop.

Better than prunes!
Works great! Tastes awful. Mixes well in milk (plantbased) & honey. My 4 year old gets easy relief within 24 hours.

Helps with constipation with individuals with down syndrome 💛💙
Definitely does not taste good not sure why it says that on the unflavored version. Definitely mix it in some form of an applesauce, probiotic yogurt that kids can drink or eat or a smoothie. I also made sherbet and mixed it in for a yummy and yet beneficial treat.

Awful
WARNING— They don’t tell you but do not mix with milk. It sours it and makes your child vomit. I wish someone had told me.

Effective
Helps my son stay regular. We put 1 scoop in drinks 2 times a day. Will buy again.

Looks milky!
I’d say the best way to hide this in a child’s drink is in something. This picture is mixed with water. No taste, just changes the color of water to white. Will update on how well it works!
