Best multi-purpouse shock
This shock pairs perfectly with someone looking for a small lift on their truck and someone who tows frequently. I do not think i would like these shocks on an stock ride height truck. These lifted the rear of my truck just over an inch and a quarter from stock height. That being said, they paired perfectly with a 2.5 inch leveling kit from motofab. Im running these on a set of 295/60r20 tires (34x12) and the combo is 100% perfect. Truck now squats minimally( less than a half inch) with my tongue heavy equipment trailer where before it was close to 2 inches. The factory ride quality is retained, maybe ever so slightly stiffer on large bumps, but to me thats a plus. Installation can be tedious alone, just crawling in and out under the truck to adjust jack to mount height. Just know youll have jack the body up quite a bit to install these as they do not compress by hand like normal shock absorbers. I'm a professional and installed both sides in 10 minutea, but anyone can install these with a floor jack and an impact! I 100% recomend these to anyone with a leveling kit!

One of the best upgrades for hauling trailers
Easy to change out and improves the ride with a trailer. Definitely helps eliminate trailer sag with medium load weight and helps with heavy loads. Installation took lifting the frame of the pickup up to get them on. Still a straight forward upgrade. I would recommend these if you haul any kind of trailer with medium to heavy loads.

Great replacement shock if you have weight in the back
Well so far going from worn out shocks with my toolbox (1000lbs) in the back to these new shocks installed I’ve gained 4” on my ride height with a load lol sorry I wasn’t able to give an unloaded measurement as this toolbox stays in the truck between jobs. Ease of install I’ll give a 3 and I’m a mechanic/ fabricator. Was about 10pm in a side with the right tools. Lift rear up as high as possible without the tires coming off the ground and use a stand to hold it there at the hitch and then use your floor jack and a pin bar to put in place and viola! Well after a good test drive they are what everyone says they are quality ride wise

Good fit
Pros: Helps with an old truck with leaf springs. Rear seems to be more stable than with standard shocks without springs. I tow a trailer hauling firewood and will update after the first load. Cons: Not really a con but the spring needs to be compressed to make it fit. Recommend using a floor jack with a deep well socket to force it in to position. Overall, I would buy these again.

Liking the improved ride quality
First off- you’re purchasing a PAIR of Monroe 58654 load adjusting shocks- it’s a great deal! I put them on my ‘15 Silverado 1500 LTZ which has the 6.2L and max tow package to pull my 6,500# camper trailer. I got the truck with 120k and it seemed to wallow over rough roads. I want to put 2” leveling struts on the front but started with the rear shocks to firm up the ride/towing. Immediate positive unloaded ride difference noticed putting these shocks on. Hopefully they also hold up well when putting my trailer on with camp gear in the bed box. Will advise

WARNING - So Not Waste Money!
DO NOT BUY!! WATCH VIDEO! Put these on my Silverado. Torqued to GM specs. Within a week the springs started scraping against the cylinder creating a LOUD metal screeching noise with the slightest bump. I sent these back and got something different.
