I installed the Gasket for Big Green Egg Large/XL/XXL (2-Pack, 8 ft) on my grill and overall I’m pleased. The gasket sealed well around the lid — after a few firings it molded nicely and helped keep heat and smoke in. It’s a snug fit for the Large/XL/XXL sizes and seems durable for regular use. Installation was fairly simple, though you need to make sure the surface is clean before applying — otherwise adhesion can be a little tricky. All in all, a worthwhile upgrade if you want to improve heat retention on your Egg without spending too much.

Quality adhesive and proper fit for my Weber Kettle and extension accessories. Minimizes smoke leaks, and protects the lids. Just make sure to clean thoroughly prior to installation, or it will detach with use.

Came off after a few months of normal usage. Initially worked fine and was easy to install but ultimately didn’t work.

I installed this gasket material on a Large Big Green Egg. The gasket is very tightly woven and durable and is very piable and compresses nicely, which provides a great seal. It has great easy to follow instructions on the box and following them resulted in a perfect application and fit. You will have quite a bit of material left over for repairs or replacing around the chimney! I have not used the egg since applying the seal but have no doubts on its ability to provide a good seal which will prevent the dreaded air leaks causing the temperature to be erratic. I also readjusted the lid using a video on that topic from Youtube which was very helpful.

Works great. DO measure or dry apply to get length needed. Super strong glue! You won't be pulling this apart if you remove the paper from glue too far off. Start by peeling little paper off, be 100% sure of placement, then start to place. Pull paper as you go and go slow. I have noticed on my Traeger that I am losing far less smoke from the cover than I was. This is a cheaper priced item than the name brand LAVA something if I remember right. Probably a good idea also for any BBQ. Use that heat you paid for.

Arrived quickly and works great. My smoker was leaking around the lid. Picked up this gasket and in 5 minutes I was back in business with no more leaking smoke.

Used this on my 22” Weber kettle. I followed the instructions and it does a great job of creating a proper seal. It’s important to let it set in for 24 hours before using the grill.

I’m do a lot of high heat cooks so have to replace gaskets regularly. These are a great price point and have the same if not better quality than brand name gaskets. Super easy to apply and sticks well. Holds up as well as any felt gasket I’ve bought
