Chesapeake Bay Candle PT31909 Scented Candle, Reflection + Clarity (Sea Salt Sage), Large, Home Décor

I was so looking forward to this candle because it has such great reviews I’m just looking for something that I didn’t have to keep let and let the sense Rome unfortunately this was not that candle. After lighting it once it burned out in five minutes, I lit it again hoping it was just a snag and another five minutes of burned out I tried again and the third time it last about 10 minutes. It kept making a deeper and deeper hole for itself for the wax filled up and now I can’t even light it anymore because the wick is completely under wax. I had this candle less than an hour. As for the scent I barely smell anything. I will be exchanging this immediately. I believe a lot of these reviews are fake, but I will give the manufacture a benefit of the doubt and say this was it a flop candle and I’ll let them send me one more and I’ll keep you posted with my honest review. OK here’s my second Riverview it’s been two days I got the new candle and it burns beautifully there’s no hole it doesn’t burn out every five minutes in fact I lit it once and it stayed lit and the smell is perfect so beware if you get a busted candle it could happen just return it for a brand new one you won’t be disappointed the second time hopefully because I’m very happy with this product now .

I chose this company because it's name: CHESAPEAKE BAY CANDLES. The name brought back some good childhood memories of growing up as a U.S. Army Brat in Maryland and around the Chesapeake Bay. Patronizing the shops and homemade goods. Simpler, somewhat soothing, relaxing times. Anyways, this candle has a slow burn & a light to medium 'throw'. But I must admit, I didn't get a hint of jasmine or cashmere. Unless cashmere and jasmine are supposed to smell like lightly scented hand soap, bleach and fresh fern & a hint of honeysuckle/ moss covered waterfalls in a national park. Which it isn't supposed to. And mind you I was burning this in my living room. Not the bathroom & no bleach anywhere. In fact I'm fresh out. Go figure. It's all in the NOSE OF THE BEHOLDER. lol Who knows? You might actually smell the jasmine or cashmere... or something else completely different. Hopefully pleasing to your olfactory senses. But it's a win all the same and functions perfectly in the loo. The fragrance is perfect without being too heady. No heinous powdery or perfumed or even 'fabric softener type' scents that are popular; the latter I sometimes grab like every other person out there. Also, no high flame or flare up. Nevertheless, you should still keep a close eye on any candle. Because it has such a light but clean & fresh smell, this candle functions best in a small space: restroom, den, an office space, a guest room. You get the idea. It is a "tranquil" aroma that's a gentler way to start your day with your morning shower. I look forward to testing out CHESAPEAKE BAY CANDLE'S other goods.

Got this candle to help relax me before bed (I suffer from insomnia so looking for candles with aromatherapy and relaxing scents). However, this is not the best smelling candle in the world (I tried out 3 different “relaxing” scents from this brand), BUT for the money it’s great. Would be great for a larger room since smell is quite pungent if burned for longer than 30 mins. Would also be great for the bathroom during holiday dinners to mask any ominous odors since it’s so strong (haha!). I would have been very pleased with the Balance + Harmony candle itself. The scent is uniquely pleasant and relaxing, and the wood-topped, colored glass container is lovely. It came packaged securely in a nice cardboard box; however, the candle wax had melted in transit and the scented oil used leaked through the packaging. Sadly, this made the candle ungiftable, which was my original intention. I highly recommend the candle, just don't order it during the summer months if you live in a warmer climate.

This is my favorite scent from this company I just hope they don't become too expensive like Yankee Candle even though it is a sister brand

I purchase a lot of candles during the winter / holiday months, and this is a really good one. It's tall, has a really nice scent, and lasts a long time. This candle also provides a really nice glow in a light greenish frosted glass, much better than clear glass. I've purchased 3 of these.

this candle came well packaged ( it did come in a box that had large letters wrote on it - yankee candle thou - (?) The glass is frothy an very nice eye candle . Nice to give as a gift . BUT, the scent of the candle does not smell at all but just a little hint of lavender. Before I lite the candle the lavender smell was great an not overwhelming smelled good !! When I lite it thou it just smelled like a burnt candle. I have purchased tons of different brands of candles. If you want a candle that your going to want your money worth then “ one fur all” candles !!! These candles ARE SAVE IN ALL WAY POSSIBLE !!! These candles are very well worth the price an smell so good an in a very pretty glass !!!! I gave this candle a 3 stars cause it is very pretty but the smell is not good at all

The presentation is nice and they do look good, though the important part, the scent, is really like a plain candle. By smell alone you would never realize one has been lit.
