Perfect from newborn to toddler!
I really like this carrier! I have used an Ergo & Bjorn in the past, and this is like the perfect combo of both with extra features. It is comfortable and takes the weight off of your upper back with the hip strap like the Ergo & baby can be snuggled in with great head support like a Bjorn. Bonus the head support for this carrier is even better because it isn't fixed/adjustable with straps, it is a stretchy snap on top so keeps baby comfortable and if they need to re adjust they can do so with the head support moving comfortably for them. It has a great mesh front that you can zip up for cooler weather, easy to zip with baby in or out of carrier & easy to snap on the bottom. Speaking of snaps, this has AWESOME snaps that are heavy duty metal and not plastic! yay! There are snaps for the sun shade, which has great adjustable straps to make sure you are comfortable, snaps for the mesh pull down, and snaps in the hip strap for which are AMAZING for multi child families like mine. There are 3 different adjustments for kids of different sizes so you can have your infant baby have perfect hip& leg placement on the smallest setting, medium for your older baby and wide for your toddler. I attached pictures of 3 different aged kids & you can see the different adjustments from narrow to wide :) The upper back strap that buckles is perfect for taking off the pressure on your back, and its easy to reach and seems better placed than on my ergo that feels more like a workout to get it snapped by myself. Also there is a pocket on the bottom front of the carrier that is pretty decent size with strong velcro. My only con is the hip buckle is on the left side, so I would say its amazing for left handed people but a bit tricky for right handed people, but definitely not a deal breaker! I can't wait to see more colors come out & would love to make this my go to gift for new moms! It is comfortable for parent and child!

... other top carriers and used them to create a wonderful new carrier
This carrier was obviously designed by parents who paid attention to the pros and cons of other top carriers and used them to create a wonderful new carrier. I give it four stars for now, but think it could easily be five stars with some tweaks... maybe lumiere 2.0 :)I love that it's all in one- no need for newborn insert and the seat is adjustable. It is also very comfortable to wear, both for short and long term (I've worn it for 1.5 hr while running errands with my 24 lb., big baby). It is more comfortable for my body than the ergo 360, which I felt was too big for my petite frame/narrow shoulders. The lumiere straps stay in place, whereas my ergo straps consistently want to slip off my shoulders. Other features I am happy with:-zip-down front panel to reveal cooler mesh for hotter days.-elastic bands to hold ends of straps rolled up in place so they don't hang and flap annoyingly-color. It's a nice solid grey that both I and my husband enjoy-storage pocketsI haven't tested all the positions as I purchased this carrier when my son was already to large for some (e.g. Hip carry) but have enjoyed front and back carry with him. His hips are supported in the ergonomic m shape. I still have to figure out getting him in back carry on my own.. haven't wrapped my brain around how to hold wiggly toddler in place while shifting carrier around to back.I did have to play with the straps and fit to get to where it was comfortable. Some straps were a little difficult to adjust at first but I think it will got easier as I got used to the carrier.Room for improvement:-pockets are not easily accessible when wearing larger baby, or if back panel is rolled down to vent.-back panel is supposed to roll down and snap below seat of baby. I can't get it to snap so I tuck it awkwardly into pocket that's below it. That takes away use of the pocket for other things.-hard to adjust straps completely on own-seat of carrier is adjustable using snap buttons in belt of carrier. These buttons dig into my hips if I wear carrier too low. Once they came unsnapped in own- awkward for toddlers arms- doesn't seem like there's enough space for his arms to be down, and he prefers them up and over the top of the carrier, but then the straps dig into his arms. Not sure what/of anything can be done about this, but didn't notice it as issue with other carrier.Again, overall I enjoy this carrier, but I have yet to find one I'm in love with. I am very impressed with the design of this one and think with some tweaks it could be a leading brand soon.

Best features from all other carriers
This carrier takes the best features of all the other carriers and put them in one!Venting--Babywearing is HOT. In the winter I can always add layers but in the summer there's only so much I can take off. I appreciate Lumiere's panel that zips down to just mesh, so that there is better venting for baby. Similar to Lillebaby's mesh carrier, but less floppy and less bulkyBack support--Lillebaby has this too, but their's is a weird small piece whereas this one is longer, but still not bulkyPocket--this is huge, Why do other carriers not have this? Perfect for stashing a binky or wallet/cell phone when you are travelling light.Versatile--I haven't mastered back or hip carry yet, but I love how I can face the baby out in this carrier. I also like my Kinderpack, but that's one thing that is missing. Also, Kinderpacks are expensive!Price--Carriers are so expensive. This one is on the cheaper end--but it has everything you'd need and is really one of the best ones out there!I would recommend this to any family!

Revised review *(Broke first wear)
(Broke the first time I tried to wear it! With the baby in it!!! Scary!)My initial experience was not great. BUT I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because this company emailed me after my review and not only adjusted for the carrier that broke but asked me to try their product again no strings attached. I have not received the new carrier yet. However, I am updating my review because a company willing to communicate with it’s customers and make things right is one I will forgive and use again. One willing to research a problem and put the time, energy, and cost into fixing the problem is a company truly concerned about its consumers. I’m on board with that even if my initial experience was bad.

Great for all the family!
Both myself and Daddy have taken turns taking the Boss Lady out in her brand new Lumiere Universal Carrier. All 3 of us give it a big thumbs up! As soon as our daughter was strapped in, she stopped whinging and loved taking everything in around her. She's a petit 6month old baby and it suits her just fine. She is comfortable enough to fall asleep in it. The carrier suits my posture and supports my lower back fabulously (still getting my strength back post pregnancy). I don't not feel any uneven strain anywhere. My partner has scoliosis which has caused us to return carriers rather quickly as they are uncomfortable. For once, he seems to be quite content..I have already recommended it to several friends who have just had or are expecting a baby.I was initially sceptical to go with a lesser popular brand, but it's the best decision I've made.

Fantastic carrier
Amazing carrier for both mum and dad to use, easy to adjust quick and simple to use, really comfortable back support excellent. The Lumiere carrier made our recent holiday fantastic been able to access places a buggy wouldn’t reach. Our 10 month old is incredibley happy in the outward facing position been able to see and interact with the world.

I don’t recommend this baby carrier
After using it twice a week for less than two months the part shown on the picture above ripped and the arm strap fell from my shoulder when I was carrying a 5kg baby. If I wasn’t holding my daughter, I believe that she would have fallen. The solution that I fount was sewing the ripped part back. I don’t use the more than once a week now and for that reason I don’t think that this baby carrier is worth what I payed. There are others with the same features that cost less than £50.

Looks decent, but too big for me!
It is well padded and looks like it would be comfortable, but at 5'2" I found it to be too large to fit my torso comfortably while supporting my daughter, so I had to send it back (very prompt refund). Will be looking for a fabric sling type carrier which might suit my frame better. It's a shame because it looked like a decent carrier.

Easy to use and ergonomic
This baby carrier is very easy to use and easy to wash. My baby is very comfortable in it. We both totally love it!!!The only thing I’m not happy about is that according to the seller it’s suitable for forward facing carrying. Please read about this carrying position before you go ahead, as it’s not recommended at any age. Thank you!
