Duck Mirror Crafting Tape, 1.88 Inches x 5 Yards, Gold

The Duck brand does stick well on clean, flat surfaces but does not fold well AND stay sticked to an uneven surface. I taped up a picture frame from the front to wrap to the back (I didn't want the back entirely covered since it isn't exposed). About 1/4 an inch of gold mirror tape wrapped to the back and stuck. After a few hours, the 1/4 inch had become unstuck from the back of the frame. I smoothed it back down and applied more pressure but it popped up the next day.I recommend that if you need to tape a sharp corner with this mirror tape that you leave more than 1/4 of an inch of you need to wrap an uneven surface or object. On another project, leaving 3/4 to an inch was enough to prevent the mirror tape from unsticking when wrapped around a jewelry box.Alternatively, you could also just trim the length as close as possible to the surface edge to prevent the tape from curling or unsticking.The thickness of the tape is too thick for it to lay flatI would buy again regardless!

This tape is absolutely gorgeous… adhesion is terrible, however, I figured out how to get it to stick. It requires heat… I used a blow dryer on the hottest setting and a dry cloth to press down and it finally stuck! The material is like the film they use on window tints in a sense and they use heat to seal it on.

My son's Halloween costume was Drift from Fortnite. I couldn't find cheap, black fingerless gloves that had gold across the knuckles, so I bought this tape to put on the gloves that I bought (also from Amazon). This tape stuck on (but not very well) to the rubber decal on the top of the gloves, but not the fabric itself AT ALL. I don't have any other need for this tape, so I don't know how well it works for other applications as of now. I can tell you that regular scotch tape stuck better to the rubber part of the gloves than this tape. Not very sticky whatsoever. It feels like the big chunks of foil confetti with a n extremely thin layer of adhesive. I have it 3 stars because it is a nice mirrored gold color that would probably work just fine, just not good for anything soft or flexible, and the shipping time is great. If I were to use it for any other craft, I would apply another type of adhesive first. It's a pretty tape but not sticky by any means.

This tape is so beautiful, what a shame it doesn’t stick to most surfaces. I read other reviews that said they had this problem, but I wanted and needed something exactly like this - so I bought it anyway. What I did find that it sticks to, and is very pretty, is glass. I decorated several jars that I have stored my art brushes in and am happy with them!

I got this originally for a seam tape on my walls.. I was sad to see how very LITTLE TAPE was actually on the roll.. was expecting more.. for the price!!It has a wonderful mirror affect I will say!!! Other than the amount of tape it was what I expected.

Wasnt as sticky as I expected, but it served its purpose and looks good on my bathroom mirror

This tape works descently well and the color is good. We used it to stripe a dowel rod for kids’ Kung Fu practice original job started coming up on one stick too easily, but the other one has stayed true.

When you think of duct tape, you may have some prior knowledge of the tape having a little give in it or stretchiness. This doesn’t, which should be expected of something with a mirror finish to it. Just FYI

I did not know it was only five yards....thus making item quite expensive.I must say though that the gold finish is very good.I am thinking of using it as a border for a painting.

Terrible, it dosent stick properly and the measurements are so off I didnt belive. Got 3 rolls, one had 5 m and the other had 2 and 3,5 m total trash
