These struts fixed the issues I was having with my automatic trunk always binding up. Now my trunk moves up and down flawlessly at the push of a button. It was so easy to install, just need a tiny flathead to remove the clips on the old struts. Save and reuse the two square clips that connect the top of the rear struts to the trunk lid, those clips need to be transferred. The other clips already come installed with the new strut assembly and are ready to snap into place when you press the ball and socket together. Really easy job, might take 10 minutes at the most.

This is a really good product . My only complaint is the screw in holders don't line up perfectly so you have to settle for loosened clasps .

the trunk clips for this type of strut are not reusable and this set did not come with them. So was unable to install these correctly and reused old broken clips temporarily while I order new clips from Mercedes. These should come with the clips that gold the end to the trunk lid as it is a clip that is necessary for installation.
