Foot and leg help
Foot doctor told me about this product to help with my neuropathy. I must say it does seem to have slowed down the progress. I have not had any side effect to it at all. I think it has actually help with a lot of my feet and leg issues. I would say try it and see how it works for u.

Didn’t Realize It Has Added Biotin
It is effective but I don’t like that they add Biotin, why? Darn it After a few days of taking this, I noticed hard raised little bumps all over my arms. Consequently, I did ‘research’ and realized that those of us who are affected with KP, Biotin exacerbates the condition by over producing keratin and clogging the pores even worse! I had to give it to my roommate, he likes it. My skin healed after a week.

Generic Alpha Lipoic Acid
This is the generic Alpha Lipoic Acid. Works well for neuropathy. Much cheaper than the brand names.

IMPORTANT UPDATE On this ALA!
After taking this product, then getting very severe Heartburn each time, I opened a capsule to test and see what was the problem. It was like some kind of super strong acid mixed with super strong pepper. It literally burned my tounge. I never have acid reflex issues, EVER. I am sure many buyers just threw this stuff out and not write a review. I rarely write reviews. I thought to let others know. I had been taking R-Lapoic prior, not this brand, and for several months. The R-Lapoic also has an acidy taste on opening a capsule, but not nearly as super strong acid as this Alpha Lapoic acid. I also have used other ALA brands, never such an issue. I bought this brand because it had Biotin added, per studies on biotin added to ALA. Seemed a smart product, but now it must go in the garbage, full bottle. Perhaps this was just a bad batch. I suppose a waste of time contacting the seller. Important UPDATE-If taking 2 caps in middle of large meal, no Acid reflex issues! Most experts say to take ALA outside one hour from any meal, to get most out of it. That is how I have been using several other brands of RALA, ALA, etc., with no acid reflex issues. But this one is pretty acidy, but no problem I have now found if taken during a full meal. So now that I can consume it, now moving on to observing any of its benefits, primarily for my neuropathy post shingles one year ago. Will try to update review in a few months on its benefit if any. Perhaps the super acidy makeup may fortell a greater effect, as even the best R-ALA and ALA brands were useless for my neuropathy. So I have upped this to 3 stars. Really hope I can up it to 5 stars in future. We'll see. Kind Regards.

Sold as Alpha Lipoic Acid 600mg | 240 Capsules, but actually contains 240 x 200mg capsules. On closer inspection the label says in large letters 600mg and in much small type: "per serving". Serving size is not shown on the front of the label. This company will not get my business again.

Regardless matter what the merchant is trying to suggest with the phrasing, the product has 200 mg, NOT 600 mg. I purchased as I taught it was 600 mg. The merchant must change the label to 200 mg instead.
