Metra Electronics - GM Speaker Adapters - 2.5 Inch to Tweeter (82-3016) Speaker Adaptors

I bought these to adapt aftermarket tweeters on my 00 silverado z71 of course you will need to do some mods to adapt the aftermarket tweeters but the base plate is a perfect fit in place of the factory ones.

Great product but requires trimming in order to fit the GM dash location on 2020 Cheverolet and GMC 2500 and 3500 trucks.

They said they would fit the openings in my dash for the tweeters on my 2020 Silverado. Not even close. I still used them after extensive modification. I could have built them from scratch just about as easy.

Cutting the holes were a pain but worked well with this Pyle tweeter which comes with 2 6.5's that rock. Will fit most GM's, actual finish looks better than the pic once screwed in.

So as others have described it did not come close to fitting, the shape is right but way over sized, but with your stock speaker and a flush trim bit it does just fine. Luckily the piece has mold release points that line up with original speaker holes so just drill those out mount speaker to it and flush trim and you are good to put whatever tweeter you need in there. So with all that said if you have a scrap piece of plastic laying around or 1/4" wood you'll get same result, so as for plug and play with this its a waste of money idk what model they designed it around but doesn't fit in my 18 camaro or 14 sierra so there/s that.

Worked great for replacing the stock tweeters in my 2021 Subaru Outback. Just drilled out a hole in the plastic big enough to fit the new tweeters and then the assembly fit in the stock location perfectly using the stock hardware.

this will fit 2018-2021 toyota camry xse jbl dash speakers, of course you will need to drill the holes to fit your speakers or tweeters.
